He's had a lot of stick from fans last season and over the summer, from myself as well but this season he has been absolutely sensational. Best attacking player this season for us so far. A joy to watch and defintely has earnt his captaincy based on his performances. An incredibly loyal player and as much a legend as Lambert is.

He's been a joy to watch. I never thought of him as one of our best players after we left League One but he certainly is now. Full fitness is doing him a world of good.

He was almost unplayable at times today. Couldn't believe the amount of times Fulham players got away with fouling him.

 

I'm glad the daft posts stating he shouldn't be our captain appear to have stopped. Funny that.

Lallana has been resurrected and is starting to show his full potential, a joy to watch today - the club have a great track record for that and hopefully Gaston and Osvaldo will also benefit from this approach

I've always loved watching him play. I think the closing-down-at-pace that Poch has taught him means that he's that much more involved the whole time now. The Crystal Palace match was the first one I managed to watch live this season and I couldn't believe how much ground he was covering. No wonder he got subbed off at 70mins for the first few matches - must have been knackered.

The amont of times he beats his man or retains posession by using non standard inside of the ankle tap changes of direction or under the sole roll backs is quite stunning. *
