I went to the Warehouse Project in Manchester a few weeks ago. Closest you'll get to these type of raves, nothing like it in London. Reminded me of the Worldances I went to in '96/97/98. Get up there if you want to re-live it!

Some friends of mine used to organise legal raves. The best I ever went to was under London Bridge station.

Remember, it's not a rave without a bearded 60-something throwing shapes.

haha saw i bloke i know on that, so will be putting it on facebook to embarrass him :D

some really good nights at the Rhythm Station even though it was a bit of a dump. looks like this was filmed in 94/95 ? was about then i stopped going as it got a bit cheesy by then & not the same vibe as 90-93.

Used to go to Whirl-y-Gig, which I hear was pretty darn close (I'm too young for the early ones), well I was reliably informed by a nice man in his 50s I got talking to whilst he was simultaneously trying to eat his own face.

Oh and WHP in Manc too, though when it was under the train station. I gather it has moved again? Think it was at the tetley's brewery before I started going.

Also been to a few "illegal" raves, where you phone up and find out the location a few hours before hand. One of which took me to some field in the middle of ****ing nowhere somewhere outside Leeds. It was kinda scary, there were a lot of gypsies around, and all sorts of odd bods.

I know I'm not old, but I can't really do raves anymore, til I get to Glasto that is.

Same, I started going in 1992, stopped by 1996 as it was horribly cheesy and it started to feel less loved up.
