Kagawa would be a much better fit for us.

ah Kagawa is different,we'd have to apply for a new work permit for him and that's too much hassle for a player we don't really need.

Anyway as we're now a "fashionable club" (well for the time being anyway) who've obviously got a couple of bob agents will start including us in their wish list when they're trying to get their players a game.

Are we really turning our noses up to England and Manchester United players now?

Yes. Cleverley is both, but I very much doubt he would get into our team. But we could take on Young as a Diving Coach, although on second thoughts he isn't very good at it, so as you were.

Would definitely say yes just because the mongboard says no.

Last time we had a debate about wingers, the unanimous verdict was that Andros Townsend wasn't good enough for us.

Eric Djemba Djemba played for Man Utd and David Nugent played for England.

I think it just shows how average both Man Utd and England are at the moment that Young gets a game for either. I wouldn't take him personally, I don't think he's that good.

He looked class for a while.

Played out of his skin for a spell at Villa, and when first at united looked like he had been there for years.

Performance levels just seem to have fallen off a cliff of late.

because he's a speed merchant and pace dimishes with age. PL full backs are also getting better, was the last bastion where a useless player could get a PL game but recently even that's changed. Comes from better coaching and fitness I'd guess, plus with the new 4-2-3-1 systems with AMs dropping back into their own half to defend a wide man needs a bit more than a burst of speed over 50 yards. Look at the knobber Welbeck, supposed to be speed merchant right? just come on as a sub so you'd think he'd be able to outpace a DM who'd run for 80 odd minutes right? Wrong cos he doesn't have a brain.
