Interesting view from the opposition (LOL)

....

The Match: Dramatic draw

as did the huge cheer from the Old Trafford faithful when the teenager’s name was announced just before kick off. Januzaj can take it as a compliment that he received such close attention in further, card-earning challenges from Morgan Schneiderlin and Victor Wanyama. The youngster can mix it as well, getting booked in a tit-for-tat spell in the second half, and he will need to take a deep breath at times despite the provocation that he will undoubtedly experience.

Opposition: Mauricio Pochettino’s side started confidently, passing the ball smoothly and getting into shape nicely, flooding the midfield when United had the ball. Overall they looked to be lacking a cutting edge, making their equalizer all the more galling for the Reds. But on this evidence the south coast outfit will be a thorn in a few sides this season.

Move of the match: The sublime pass from Januzaj to Rooney showed off the teenager’s talents, and van Persie kept a cool head with Saints defenders desperately trying to deny him.

In the stands: The way United supporters rose from their seats when Januzaj received the ball speaks volumes for the impact the 18-year-old has already had. The reaction of the visiting fans to their shock late equalizer was equally telling; prior to that their side had barely tested David De Gea, and they left Old Trafford grateful for a point from their late smash-and-grab raid.

Interesting view that celebrating Saints fans is seen as extra special because it was a shock late equalizer and nothing to do to with the pure fact that we had scored?? I always go mental when we score away from home - it comes from many years of watching Saints away and we rarely scored!!!

A normal well balanced report from a Man Utd fan, he can't be feeling well as he didn't mention the ref not giving them penalties and disallowing any goals that went against them...smash and grab lol

or not playing enough injury time for them to get a winner

With their spoilt sense of entitlement they are going to fall really hard. Fergie was a freak and he won't be repeated which is good for the prem TBH.

I think they'll go back to the post Busby - pre Fergie Utd which was a decent enough team but not invincible.

It's going to be fun watching the implosion.

To be fair to the them i spoke to a few on the way back to the car and also overheard a few conversations and all of them said what a good side we were and how we deserved the draw. Difference between people who go and those who post I guess.

Over here we get the official TV channels for Arsenal, Spurs, Man City and Man Utd so

most of the time I can only see Saints when they play them. TVNZ did show the Liverpool

game but they stopped the tape every 20 minutes to show adverts then restarted the tape.

The first 3 are of course a bit biased but the commentators on Man Utd are way over the top

in bias. Some ex player is quite sickening actually so I have to watch with the sound off otherwise

a new TV would be needed.
