A deserved point given the effort we put in, but we rode our luck at times. Utd hit the bar twice and Boruc made a couple of good saves.

With a little more cutting edge up front we could have won that.

Agreed. Osvaldo still concerns me though.

Well done the mighty Saints

I needed cheering up and whoever put the picture of the nun on is effing magic, I was having a look at her and within seconds we equalised

I think Ricky has a slight knock , thats why he wasnt used

Today we came of age and showed we are not a pre season flash in the pan

Robin Van Persie gave United the lead just before the half-hour mark, before Dejan Lovren equalised in the 90th minute.

Saints remain in 4th place.

Fulham at home up next for Saints.

Your thoughts?

My thoughts are basically that we have one mutha fecking good team that we should all feel very proud of and confident in. We were the best side over all and particularly in the 2nd half and a draw was the very least we deserved. The weird thing was despite that Utd seriously could have scored 3 or 4 and it was as if they created the chances that our play deserved. One minor gripe - I'd like Osvaldo to start showing he's worth £15M sooner rather than later.

Missed the word 'as' which rendered the sentence a tad confusing

Terrific stuff. Bossed the game, made man u look ordinary and ultimately could have nicked the win.

Fellaini should have been off the field long before he got subbed, really nasty player. Two horrible fouls, stamped on osvaldo's foot then wanyama's, both absolutely deliberate imho, typical old trafford refereeing to ignore them both. I hope the ref takes a long hard look at those on the replays tonight and has a word with himself.

Adam Lallana was absolutely wonderful today. MOTM

Yes!

He certainly was and can see him joining Ricky in Brazil. Wonder whether Hodgeson was at the game. Immense performance from the team bar Osvaldes who is really struggling. Why wasn't he subbed and Davis kept on? Should have taken all 3 points. We certainly deserved to win. A big thank you to Pochettino who is delivering what he promised. Purring with delight. Meeeeoooowww!

Great team performance and not once did we look out of place competing against them. We justified our league position entirely.

A few players with MotM performances; Lallana, Lovren, Morgan in particular, but my MotM vote goes to Clyne who had a superb game defensively and offensively.

I clearly watch a different Osvaldo to others though, as I thought he did well, looked good and played his part well. He should have done better with his excellent chance on goal, so if that's the base for the criticism I kind of understand, but he's clearly quality so doesn't deserve the comments he gets against him.

The turn on the touchline by Lallana after we scored was sublime.

The first half was even, unlucky not to go in level. Their goal was offside, but they hit the bar - we could've score from Ossie.

Second half we played them out of the game. Passed and moved, wanted the ball, gave options, never gave up. Typical United stuff, really.

The goal was deserved from us. They had a few chances, yes, but we coped VERY well with all of them.

Overall - a fair result if not a tiny bit harsh on us not to have got all 3 points.

Wouldn't have turned down a point at 15:00 though, so happy.

On to Fulham next week to follow up this fantastic away point.

Anyone else staring to believe?
