Saint Charlie Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 Not the best looking lad, nor the best player and the only striker I have seen scuff every single shot he has ever taken....but played an important role for us, and who can forget the goal at Villa Park in 2003! Celebrate Brett's birthday by posting a picture of him.
Turkish Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 I saw him at a service station on the M62 with the rest of the Wrexham squad about 6 months ago. True story.

Did you say anything to him, or bottled it and just stared?
Turkish Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 Did you say anything to him, or bottled it and just stared? I put on my best 'ampshire accent and shouted at him from a distance "Oi Brett" and burst into song "we've got Brett Ormeroid" That fabulous chant that was one of the staples of the northam c2002-03. He looked over and waved nervously as i strolled over in an authorative manor and asked him if there was any chance of a photo. I stood next to him, arm around him, grinning like a deranged chimpanzee whilst he half smiled clearly wishing he was anywhere in the world but stood in an M62 service station with some bloke in his mid thirties hero worshipping a now non league footballer whose best days were over 10 years ago. After i asked him for an autograph, for my neice obviously, it was straight onto facebook to share this incredible experience with my 10 real friends and family and 384 other people i think i might have spoken to once. 23 "likes" and 14 comments later and another fabulous and meaningful day in the life of Dorkish was complete. Lets B Avenue Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 I stood next to him, arm around him, grinning like a deranged chimpanzee I'm sorry, but I am deeply offended by that comment and insist that the Mods hold a full inquiry as to why I'm offended (as it has nothing to do with me). hackedoff Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 If only people remembered Delgado,s birthday as well, things could have been so different.

You missed the chance to sing (or even ask if) he sh*gged Julie Phillips? Chapel Ender at best!
The9 Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 I saw him at a service station on the M62 with the rest of the Wrexham squad about 6 months ago. True story. I saw him at Wembley with the rest of the Wrexham squad losing to Newport County in the Conference Play-Off in May, also true story. He missed an absolute sitter and Newport went on to get promoted with 2 late goals. I regard it as revenge for the rampage he went on for Blackpool against Newport in the FA Cup in 2001 just before he signed for Saints. Also, Adam Lallana is the only player I've seen mis-hit every shot - as I saw McGoldrick catch one properly on tv a couple of weeks ago.
