hypochondriac Posted 17 October, 2013 Share Posted 17 October, 2013 Have a mate who has lost his ticket. Any idea what the cost for replacement is and can I do it for him as he is away?
Colinjb Posted 17 October, 2013 Share Posted 17 October, 2013 Not sure about the costs for replacement but was it bought by credit/debit card? The ticket office can reference the seat to the card used, if you have his details I can't see why you couldn't get it for him.
Give it to Ron Posted 17 October, 2013 Share Posted 17 October, 2013 1.11 In the event of the Seasoncard being forgotten or lost in respect of any individual Match the Club shall not be obliged to issue any other form of ticket to the said Match. If, at the Club’s discretion, a matchday duplicate ticket is issued to the holder, a charge will be payable by the holder for the sum of £5.00 which is non-refundable. 1.12 If, in the Club’s opinion, a Seasoncard is entirely lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed, a replacement Seasoncard shall be issued by the Club as soon as reasonably practicable, subject to a non-refundable replacement fee of £25.00. The old Seasoncard will be automatically cancelled and will not permit access to the stadium. Grey Crab Posted 17 October, 2013 Share Posted 17 October, 2013 Sounds like a scam. I shall notify the ticket office in the morning and give them the heads up.

hutch Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 I'm always astonished that people are so blasé about posting their intention to steal from the club on a public website.
terrypward Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 I lost my wallet on a night out and had to get mine replaced. They said that if I wanted to report it as lost/stolen to the police and could get a crime number, then they wouldn't charge me. I couldn't be ar$ed with that - so just paid the £25. hutch Posted 18 October, 2013 Share Posted 18 October, 2013 The seat has been paid for. Who's stealing from whom? At a reduced price because it can only be used by the purchaser. Any person who is knowingly trying to get entry to the game using a ticket he or she knows is not valid for them to use is stealing from the club. There is a reason cheap tickets are cheap. They come with restrictions.

My seats are the most expensive in the ground so this would not apply in my case.
