Window Cleaner Posted 16 October, 2013 Share Posted 16 October, 2013 Boruc not playing will work in our favour on Saturday as he has still only let two goals in. He didn't have the misfortune of Shrek scoring against him in the England game so will be up for keeping a clean sheet and making sure we are 7 points clear of midtable Utd Depends if he's fit to start really, if we have to play Davis we'll get mullered because he doesn't control his area and will invariably get beaten low down just inside his posts. Great The support seems to be of the "Ready" brand, can't find out much about them though. Ah Game Ready, bespoke maker of hot/cold compression supports, amazing what you can track down in 30 seconds on t'innernet. Shame as this is the best chance will we have of beating Man U away. Hopefully he will only be missing for one game.

Saint Mikey Posted 16 October, 2013 Share Posted 16 October, 2013 A hamstring strain for a keeper is not all that bad, hopefully he can rest it while still getting in some keeping work at training and worse case get someone else to take goal kicks, we really need him vs Man U after that game he can rest 2-3 weeks. What league are we in? Junior 1?!
Charlie Wayman Posted 16 October, 2013 Share Posted 16 October, 2013 If Rickie doesn't play I hope England lose . Hodgson is a joke Roy Hodgson is far from being a joke. If you recall he had his WBA team playing great football like the Arse. before he moved on and weren't they top 6 for a while? England looked good and fast last night in the first half so where the heck did he make a poor selection by leaving Ricky out? Of course I would have loved him to play but he wouldn't have fitted at all last night in that all out attacking game. Can't understand your nonsense about Hodgson, he looks like the best England manager since Robson and Ramsey and he might just pull a surprise out of the Brazilian hat. We could've easily been a couple down before we got going yesterday, and would've been against a better team. Yes we played some nice stuff at times, better than we've seen in a long time, but it was only Poland at home who have been poor, and they still caused us massive problems at times. He'll contrinue to pick players who are in the top 4 reserves over those who are bang in form for their clubs. Wouldn't surprise me to still see a past it Gerrard and 48 year old Lampard starting games in Brazil, and getting completely overrun. Can't see us being a serious contender in Brazil, or anything close.

I'm sure that Ricky would have done better than Wellbeck. What really is the point of him? His finishing is attrocious, as is his ball control. As VW says, we could easily have been a couple down at least by half time except for Poland's poor finishing and maybe we could have also bagged a couple ourselves if not for the poor finishing of Wellbeck and Sturridge. We'll have to be whole lot better than that to progress in Brazil.

For the sake of my nerves I'd rather have him have to do sod all thanks to a brilliant defensive display and cack Man U play!! Mind you the look of "how the eff did we not score and lose that match look of shock" on the Leeds fans in the pub with us was a sight to behold, as was the "howw the eff did we get away with that" celebrations from us!! OldNick Posted 17 October, 2013 Share Posted 17 October, 2013 How does a club persuade an international keeper to come and sit on the bench and risk losing their international place by not playing? Im sure the San Marino one would do so, after all he is an international and must be better than the one of the players who helped us gain promotion to the PL
