Certainly would be worried if Poland had something to play for and left him out. Get him back tomorrow and work on him. In my opinion I would rather he missed man u away (let's face it even with ab, it'll be a struggle) than other games. No point in him making it worse at old Trafford and then Davies cocks it up away at stoke or home to Fulham.

This is why we are nowhere near Europe. We have a great starting 11 but most of the back up isn't good enough. Once injuries and suspensions kick in this will really show.

Jack Posted 15 October, 2013 Posted 15 October, 2013 Yes and no. One of the reasons we are doing so well is competition for places and a better squad depth. Our bench has always looked strong this year. That said, If either Lovren or Boruc get injured we are significantly weaker in those areas! I'd throw Shaw in there too. So important to us and we got away with it against Swansea.

He didn't have the misfortune of Shrek scoring against him in the England game so will be up for keeping a clean sheet and making sure we are 7 points clear of midtable Utd
