rickylambert Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 If Dani goes to the world cup as Italy's first choice and does well, Suerly we can't expect him to stay long?
View From The Top Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 If Dani goes to the world cup as Italy's first choice and does well, Suerly we can't expect him to stay long? Why not? He seems happy enough at the moment.
orchardsaint Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 playing in the champions league, couple more signings in the summer and a nice wage rise for helping us do it.... why would he go?
DuncanRG Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 I wouldn't worry about it, Balotelli will come back in.
orchardsaint Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 I wouldn't worry about it, Balotelli will come back in. we don't want that loon round here!
SaintBobby Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 Nice to see people starting to worry about Saints players doing too well! Sign of very good times.
mcjwills Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 If by he does go after a good WC, the one thing we can guarantee is a good return on our investment. Therefore another good bit of investment by NC, with cash to get our next stars.
kpturner Posted 12 October, 2013 Posted 12 October, 2013 He's simply too good for us imo I don't think that there is any evidence to suggest that (yet). Let's see what his goal return is at the end of the season.

Deano6 Posted 14 October, 2013 Posted 14 October, 2013 Ahhh, the Lyon way Tbh it should be standard business practice in football (as it is in other business).
Window Cleaner Posted 14 October, 2013 Posted 14 October, 2013 Ahhh, the Lyon way But there will always be the odd Gourcuff, 28 milion €, bout 100 K a week and the bloke's never fit. Lyon don't make a profit on every player, they've had plenty of quacks as well.
Olallana Posted 14 October, 2013 Posted 14 October, 2013 If any club should be mentioned for great business while having success it´s Porto.
westofshannonsaint Posted 15 October, 2013 Posted 15 October, 2013 Why not? He seems happy enough at the moment. & under contract. NC would give the 'vision' speech again & if he was forced to sell I'm sure he would get a very good deal. If you put on your red & white tinted glasses (and squinted a little) you'd be able to see Osvaldo doing well for his country in the WC. He might associate his success with his time at Saints leading him to commit his future to the club, attracting other 'world class' players. BTW, OP where did you get your crystal ball, i've broke mine TBH I really don't care what our players do on international duty, as long as they don't get injured. I do like to see them doing well, SRL's England goals are the only England goals I remember cheering. I just want them back at Saints fit & ready for the next game.
Restark19 Posted 15 October, 2013 Posted 15 October, 2013 Have Croatia qualified yet? I'm more worried about losing Lovren tbh, been immense for us this season and that coupled with a good showing in Rio could see big teams sniffing around him. I hope I'm wrong but I could see him fitting in very well at our next opponents, god knows they need someone of his quality too..

It could be a very tough draw with the likes of Spain, France, Sweden and even England in the hat if we balls it up tonight.
