well you'd need to read all the Leaders in Football conference briefs to really know but as far as I can make out from L'Equipe they're setting up a commission to study the number of foreign players in UK football and Hoddle is to be a member. He's suggesting something like the old system 5 foreigners on the field at any one time and all the rest English (expect he means UK though). This will of course fall foul of EU legislation on the restriction of trade so unless they can get the EU to change it's freedom of movement/trade rules it's just going to be a gabfest and little else.Might be worth notng that the PL has declined any

participation within this commission.
