Defensive record breakers - 2 years running?

This time last season (or around this time last season) I seem to remember we were breaking Premier League records for the goals any side had ever conceded after this many games in the PL. Does anyone know the record for least amount of goals conceded after the first 7 games? We can't be far off, surely? Within 2 of the record I'd guess.

Don't know but just picked up this gem from Opta:

Southampton are the 20th instance in top-flight history (1888-2013) of a team conceding fewer than 3 goals in their first 7 games. Rare

That's impressive, especially Saints have done it twice, also did it 1983/84

Like anything in footy, you need a bit of luck too. We should have conceded a pen at Norwich, we were lucky a gold plated chance fell to Collins for West Ham and god knows how we kept a clean sheet yesterday - the post and Boruc saving us. It hasn't all been down to exceptional defending, although we obviously have done well in that area.
