teenagegsaint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I thought the Swansea away fans were dreadful today and the worst I've seen in the prem since we've returned
Appy Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Thought they were alright, nowhere near the worst.
SuperMikey Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 You clearly weren't at the home games against Wigan, Sunderland or Reading last season then...
teenagegsaint Posted 6 October, 2013 Author Posted 6 October, 2013 maybe I over exaggerated with the "worst I've seen in the prem since we've returned" but they were dreadful
ericb Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 You clearly weren't at the home games against Wigan, Sunderland or Reading last season then... Newcastle were pretty ****ing dire last season too. Strange Swansea were bad though since they were one of the best lot last season
alehouseboys Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 They're probably still a bit shell-shocked from the St Gallen support in their stadium the other night...just another example of how bad British support is these days. Tbf they weren't great but certainly not the worse and there's a fair chunk of St Mary's that aren't any better.
melmacian_saint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I thought they were good, they did sing a fair number of times, what hindered their vocal ability was their small number. I remember last year Swansea had one of the biggest away attendances of the season, yet this year not even staff were expecting them to bring so few and proof of that is the buffer zone between the rest of the Northam and then. Any traffic incidents preventing many to attend?

Badger Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Cardiff half-marathon today. Probably not relevant though.
Appy Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Cardiff half-marathon today. Probably not relevant though. They took over 2000 to Valencia a couple of weeks ago, probably didn't help today's numbers.
Ulrich van Gobbel Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 (edited) They're probably still a bit shell-shocked from the St Gallen support in their stadium the other night...just another example of how bad British support is these days. Tbf they weren't great but certainly not the worse and there's a fair chunk of St Mary's that aren't any better. St Gallen fans were unreal! Who said the Swiss were boring? Agreed about Swansea fans...definitely not the worst. Edited 6 October, 2013 by Ulrich van Gobbel
Griffo Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 On another note, I'm usually one of the first to moan about our home support but it was quality today, especially second half.
Saint_clark Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I thought it was atrocious up until last half an hour.
Saints foreva Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I thought it was atrocious up until last half an hour. Agree with that.
ashleyb5443 Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I can imagine that the Swansea fans wouldn't have had a lot to sing about after a free Saints dinner at half time.
teenagegsaint Posted 7 October, 2013 Author Posted 7 October, 2013 West Ham a few weeks ago were worse IMO. behave
Golden Balls Posted 8 October, 2013 Posted 8 October, 2013 Itchen North was buzzing today. Did look good from the Northam. Northam and Kingsland north were good too. Can only guess Swansea were just so shellshocked with our noise. *Takes off pompey fan mentality hat*
stinhk Posted 9 October, 2013 Posted 9 October, 2013 I suppose with away trips in Europe to do the travelling fans will probably scale back their domestic away days
