A good win. 2nd half we were under the cosh for very long periods and had Swansea played a decent final ball or taken their chances we could have quite easily drawn that match. We played very well in the first half but have Boruc to thank for making some wonderful saves. Fox couldn't get near Dyer, I hope Shaw is fit for the next game if not switch Clyne to left back and bring Chambers in on the right please.

Still not playing our best, but nobody is going to complain about that result. Lallana looks almost back to his best; him, Clyne and Boruc are my man of the match candidates.

Great win from a difficult game. Impressed by Swansea's passing ability, but our defense looked very tight. Fox still hasn't learned positioning very well. Bring on the shrimp brigade.

I called this one as a 3-1 defeat, so fair play to turkish who predicted 2-1 Saints.

Great result, and against a very good attacking side. Not sure how we kept that clean sheet, Boruc was immense, and all credit to J-Rod for that poachers special to wrap it up, superb take.

Shaw was ill this week. 2 weeks until our next match, but expect he will play for England U21s before then.

Great win, nothing pretty but its the result that counts, good to see j rod keep himself in the managers thoughts, just need Osvaldo to start firing on all cylinders I think he will though!

All smiles when you get away with it, but seriously Danny Fox is pure dump, positioning is horrendous. Clyne and the others excellent as usual.

Can't recall us winning luckier but we dug in, rode our luck, and 3 points is 3 points however we get them. C'mon!!!!

Says it all really. Swansea could have had several had Boruc not been so good. What worried me is we looked like the away team after our goal just trying to hang on for the rest of the game.

What a great day - getting well and truly drunk even though I have an early start! Winning a game we should have lost in truth - will take that every time :-) Just imagine when we really start firing!!! Only thing I don't get is we still have some -ve prize pri**s on here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What do they want - bottom of L1 again?

Fantastic goal keeping today from Bruc (his kicking is still a bit sh*t though). Great result today. Swansea are a good team and it's no surprise they had posession and efforts, but all credit to Saints for defending well and taking our chances...

Winning while being second best for 60 minutes is a sign of a solid/good team. Clyne was quality today but I think he would have to be a close second to Boruc for MOM.

I said before the game that swansea are an excellent side going forward. I didn't see anything today to alter my opinion. Got to confess, for a while at 1-0 I still expected us to lose.

MOM - Boruc for me.

Seeing is believing and finally the end result is matching all the Pochittino bravado. A massive win against a very hungry Swansea side. Well done to Danny Fox who was the right choice even had sick note been available. Meethinks we'd do well to cash in on Shaw while the iron is still hot. Adam was immense for us and nothing pleases me more than to see him recapture his form.

BTW, convinced the coward disallowed the goal because he screwed up and gave a corner when it was blatantly a goal kick!

Fully agree.

Love it. So solid, so hard to beat. And doing it without even looking that great. Such a contrast to last year.

Love that we just don't concede anymore.

anyone know how many clean sheets we kept last season? We must be closing in on that number already, can't have been many.

Great result. Danny Fox was MOTM for me - kept Dyer in his pocket despite not playing much this season and thus earning Saints a clean sheet.

Just sat in car

Two good teams in an entertaining game

Lallana was very good. Osvaldo was good as was lambert. Wanyama did his job brilliantly and jay took his goal well

Felt so sorry for fox. Just woefully out of his depth against anyone with pace. They looked to go down our left every chance and towards the end, fonte was getting peed off with him

Have no idea why wanyama had his goal ruled out, guessing was because the ref cocked up by giving the corner in the first place

My MoM, was Boruc. Brilliant display

Lastly, Swansea are an excellent side who alway seemed to have an extra man in the middle.

Great win. It's all very well saying how great it is winning whilst playing badly but maybe this is it. Maybe we aren't playing badly, it's just how we play and get results. I hope not, but the table looks pretty good right now!

Alan Green just called us 'so refreshing' - I nearly spat out my penguin

Yep, he also said we can beat anyone and included us in a list of teams that could win the league!
