Dr Who? Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Off the post right across the line and out for a goal kick! Closer than my shave!
Viking Warrior Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Unless your in Aberdeen I'm not going to be able to join you . The match thread is so slow
Twiggy Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Bony's a useful player... Shame we never put a cheeky bid in..
Viking Warrior Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I hope saints win as my girlfriend and I have split up . Because I wanted to watch saints but she wanted me to go and buy her an engagement ring . Not saints on the box and no girlfriend . Come on saints put the swans to the sword
Pastor Patrón Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 This is a quality game, way better then I expected
Toon Saint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Lovely game this. Should be 1-1 really, but some great play b/w Lallana, Osvaldo, and Lambert. Lallana, in particular, has been excellent.
Ralph Wiggum Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 is it just me, or are we a bit hoofy today?
Dr Who? Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Turned my DAB radio on for 5 live and we are the game. They hit the post within seconds.....turned it off. Ha ha
Viking Warrior Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I'm reading about bony right now in the sports supplement of the scots daily star that's on the table next to me . Laudrup talking him up big
Olallana Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 I thought media had our goalkeeping as our weak link before the season started....
Ralph Wiggum Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Boruc with a blinder! That's me out for 24 hours. COYR!
supersonic Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Lallana's goal.... http://www.101greatgoals.com/gvideos/adam-lallana-southampton-1-0-v-swansea/

Scoobysaint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Good game so far with plent of opportunities to notch for both teams. Very concerned about the space coming down our left, not having a pop at Fox, but the space needs closing down so the service cant be given to Bony or Michu.
DuncanRG Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Another goal before half time would be huge, Swansea will come out with fire in their bellies in the second half. Great game so far, some cracking saves from Boruc and the front four are everywhere. I can't remember the last time Lambert was so active in a half.
Wade Garrett Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Their main tactic seems to be to attack our left side.
Pastor Patrón Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Nice, Fox is getting torn to pieces, gotta kick Dyer out the game
hypochondriac Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Swansea been by far the better team but we have been solid at the back again.
Scoobysaint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Fox needs to attack the ball rather than constantly running back towards the touch line. If Dyer skins him, then fair play to Dyer, but dont just let him have a free cross.
Travelling Saint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Can someone tell Fox to get closer to Dyer, far too much room and space.
Pastor Patrón Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Swansea been by far the better team but we have been solid at the back again. No they haven't, hence it being 1-0
Dr Who? Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Swansea will fade and we will take over in the second half. I am thinking 3-0
obelisk Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Swansea are finding it far too easy down their right flank. It seems to have become them v. Boruc.
Mr X Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 No they haven't, hence it being 1-0 they have definitely been better since our goal
DuncanRG Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Can someone tell Fox to get closer to Dyer, far too much room and space. Get close and Dyer will skip past him into all the space in the park. Fox has been fine against a difficult opponent.
Barry Sanchez Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Fox needs to attack the ball rather than constantly running back towards the touch line. If Dyer skins him, then fair play to Dyer, but dont just let him have a free cross. The issue with that is Fox is **** and cannot defend otherwise he would be doing that.
JoeShmoe Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 We are in the itchen right in front of Fox and it is hard to describe how bad he is, won't close down, backs off, constantly out of position We saw Lovren, fonte and Morgan screaming at him at least twice He is miles out of his depth at this level. I'd move Clyne this side against Dyer and bring Chambers on
Bewildered Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 We were on top for the first 25 minutes but shut off after the goal. Fox just can't cope with Dyer, nobody is tracking back to help him and if it weren't for Boruc we'd be losing.
Latvian Michael Owen Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Get Fox as far away from that pitch as possible, dreadful.
austsaint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Can someone tell Fox to get closer to Dyer, far too much room and space. If this isn't addressed then our goal won't be enough - so much room and space on their right side of the pitch.
Minsk Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 A good half of football, for any neutrals. Swansea having a tad too much ball for my liking. Boruc our MoM so far, just edging it from Lallana - who scored a beauty. Dyer and Bony the best players for Swansea, in that order.
Webby Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Fox got done on the knee by Dyer I think. Looked nasty but he played on. May not come out for 2nd half.
brightspark Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 What a great show between Clyne and Ben Davies. What a total mismatch between Dyer and Fox. Painful.
captainchris Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Their main tactic seems to be to attack our left side. This is about the most predictable tactic of the game. Every one knows Fox is a daydreamer. He must be good in the showers or something ?
Latvian Michael Owen Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Fingers crossed eh? Will all end in tears if he comes out for the 2nd half.
