I am going to Turkey tomorrow to Side, looks to be 28 degrees at the moment with 8 hours of sunshine per day. I'll let you know what it was like when I get back.

I read that by late October it drops off a bit but is still fairly decent, about 18 - 24 degrees each day.

Went to Egypt in October 2 years ago and it was 35 degrees. Didn't like Egypt though, great snorkelling by Sharm is sh*thole.

Also been to Morrocco in October and November and it was high 20's. Agadir is decent and cheap.

Glasgow Saint aint correct, Turkey is not a dump....great value at the moment with 3.15 TL to a quid, nice places within reach of Dalaman, superb hotel there nearby as well. Should still be mid/late 25c plus hopefully? Just got back from Northern Cyprus was 28c. The Turkish weather station http://www.dmi.gov.tr is useful.

I went to Kusadasi and it was a f**king khasi. Complete ****hole. Mind you, my sister went to Bodrum and had a great time, but I suspect she was tanked up on ***** fuel for the whole duration she was there, so judgment may have been impaired.

On the whole Turkey is a dump, at least in my experience. Izmir airport is a shyte, the people of Kusadashi are c***s and the mush's rub their rancid little bell ends up against your missus when you are all crammed into a dolmus (sp?). Pammukale (again sp?) was good and Ephesus was cracking but that's greek really. Other than that, f**king avoid the place, well at least where I went anyways. ;)
