teenagegsaint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 but we should be used to it by now surely. We should have got a real left back in the TW, Shaw is an exciting prospect but a bit of a serial sick note tbh. idiot
goneawol Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Fox, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Lallana ©, Lambert, Osvaldo.
Window Cleaner Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Confirmed no Shaw or Gaston, same team as last week except Fox for Shaw.
goneawol Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Subs: K. Davis (GK), Rodriguez, Ward-Prowse, Cork, Guly, Chambers, Hooiveld.
Stepgar Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 SwansOfficial: SWANS: Vorm, Rangel ©, Amat, Flores, Davies, Canas, Shelvey, Michu, Dyer, Routledge, Bony. #swans Bloody hell - they are definitely going for it. SHould be a cracking game.
ericofarabia Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Boruc, Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Fox, Wanyama, Schneiderlin, S. Davis, Lallana ©, Lambert, Osvaldo. The VMan on the money again!! Gaston and Luke not even on the bench.
Stepgar Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Subs: K. Davis (GK), Rodriguez, Ward-Prowse, Cork, Guly, Chambers, Hooiveld. The Vman called it!!
Window Cleaner Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 SwansOfficial: SWANS: Vorm, Rangel ©, Amat, Flores, Davies, Canas, Shelvey, Michu, Dyer, Routledge, Bony. #swans Bloody hell - they are definitely going for it. SHould be a cracking game. They know we have had to put Fox into our defence, they'll try to exploit that early on, should be fragile at the back if we can get at them though.
verlaine1979 Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Tough game. I'd say on the face of it, Swansea have a couple more match winners in their XI than we do today.
igsey Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Toughest test so far for our defence - let's see how good Lovren really is!
Stepgar Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 This sort of game could have 4-4 written all over it.
Olallana Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Lovren will cover Fox and he isn´t half as bad as people moan about on here. The key with Dyer is just let him have the outside, his crossing is bang average at best...
thornhill_saints Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 This sort of game could have 4-4 written all over it. Just wacked £1 on that at 300-1
JoeShmoe Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 In the ground, One of theirs has a head cap on (Michu I think)
Barry Sanchez Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Always behind the team simply fail to see why we select a person who is plainly so far out of his depth he would feel out of it at League 1 standard, awful footballer and a classic example of the state and thought process of the English game, he is an athlete and not a footballer, why not play Yoshida, Clyne there?
niceandfriendly Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Love it how Steven Davis has worked his way back into the starting 11. Like it when he plays especially at home. Pressure. High tempo.
St Chalet Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Fox=loss. Shows lack of depth. Honestly, it doesn't.
Joesaint Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Love it how Steven Davis has worked his way back into the starting 11. Like it when he plays especially at home. Pressure. High tempo. Agree, would love it if he could finish off more of his chances though.
Dr Who? Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Sorry everyone, I have just had my first clean shave of 2013. This goes against all old superstitions of mine about not shaving on the day of home games, but I have my red socks on, so draw?
Convict Colony Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Love it how Steven Davis has worked his way back into the starting 11. Like it when he plays especially at home. Pressure. High tempo. yeah a proper professional, I have enough respect for him, amends his game to the team's needs so he can get back in
dan abnormal Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 didn't we beat City at home last season with Fox in the team? No Williams for them is another big blow, both defenses there to be shot at. Going for a tight 1-0, Osvaldo to score a 25 yard beauty
Dr Who? Posted 6 October, 2013 Posted 6 October, 2013 Think we will win this late on. They looked sluggish in midweek and I think we will score a couple in the last 20 minutes. I am hoping we can get a couple early on though!
