TheSaintPhil Posted 28 September, 2013 Share Posted 28 September, 2013 The betting is now with SportingBet.com and you cant get your winnings at the end of the game. You have to visit http://www.sportingbet.com/claim-southampton Just so you know.. you also get better odds with betfair also.
Saint_clark Posted 28 September, 2013 Share Posted 28 September, 2013 Surely you can claim at the next game? Don't bother betting at St Marys anymore, just do accys online the night before.
sammysaint Posted 28 September, 2013 Share Posted 28 September, 2013 I feel sorry for there staff as well, only one per person. To be fair as well they give you double winnings if you collect online, however i have noticed on our games some of the odds at the ground are worse say 1-0 11-1 online but 8-1 at SMS. Stuff 'em It's only a mile long for the 10 minutes before kick-off because people leave it so late.
TheSaintPhil Posted 28 September, 2013 Author Share Posted 28 September, 2013 yes you can collect them the following week but its a silly system and you get double once.. for joining the site and making a bet. you then have to wait 24 hours to take the winnings from the match day. whelk Posted 28 September, 2013 Share Posted 28 September, 2013 Anyone who bets with them is a complete mug- check the markets. Had 9/2 for Osvaldo goal. 11/2 in Corals on premise and always better value online. Joke that they don't staff the booths after game. But as always you can vote with your feet but they won't ahem
TheSaintPhil Posted 29 September, 2013 Author Share Posted 29 September, 2013 If you're a new Sportingbet customer you'll also receive double your winnings (up to a value of £25) in the form of a free bet. Your free bet will be credited in the next 24 hours. so you don't really get double ya winnings!
Guy Posted 29 September, 2013 Share Posted 29 September, 2013 It wouldn't be so bad if was a brand that had High Street stores, but to only claim online is ridiculous. I'm sure they'll live without my £5 wager though.
Saint Garrett Posted 29 September, 2013 Share Posted 29 September, 2013 Don't see why anyone bets in these things. You get far better odds online, and normally on betfair!

Ladbrokes don't bother having kiosks in anything but the big stadiums these days, as their online market has grown to such an extent.
The Cat Posted 29 September, 2013 Share Posted 29 September, 2013 Rather than kiosks the bookies should provide/sponsor wi-fi in the stadium so people can bet in game on their phones, advertising the odds on the pitchside LED boards.
whelk Posted 6 October, 2013 Share Posted 6 October, 2013 Bet Butler for new accounts - deposit £25 and if first bet loses they credit the £25 back. Standard in many ways but the y gurantee best odds so stuck £25 on Osvaldo first goal at 6/1 Expect the booth at ground will be 7/2 or 4s at best.
