brightspark Posted 8 December, 2008 Posted 8 December, 2008 Just some questions to ponder over if you want to answer them go ahead... 1) Will we go into administration? 2) How far down the leagues will we go (if we go down at all)? 3) How long will it take before we can be just like all the other clubs in terms of finance? 4) Will we ever make it back to the Premier League and if so when? 5) Will we regain bragging rights over lucky skates anytime soon? 6) What position will we come in 08/09? 7) What will be the score against Burnley? --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1) probably 2) we might do an oldham. stay in league one for a bit. 3) can't see it for a long time 4) surely it'll happen one day. cant see it though. 5) as I put, 'lucky skates'. they'll find a dodgy way to survive for a long time yet. 6) somewhere between 20th and 23rd. hopefully 20th. 7) burnley are on fire. 1-0 to the clarets and maybe a drop to the bottom 3
ozzmeister Posted 9 December, 2008 Posted 9 December, 2008 Christ pessimism pessimism pessimism. One defeat in what 4 against a palace side who have hit some good form recently and who were playing at home? I didnt expect us to win to be honest. I dont think we will go down, I dont think we will go into administration and i think we will end up low to middle table. This team is far better than results have proven and there are many worste teams than saints out there at the moment. How does won win bring so much negativity - no wonder were ****e at home if this is the environment we put our players to. 1-0 up at the weekend, bet most the croud thought we would concede - maybe that feeling got to the players and made them nervous? Lets stay behind the team and keep the support. Were a team of exciting young british players - that in itself is something to be proud of!

Oh please, gawd help us. Wake up and smell the roses. There all but a few people who enjoy watching a dog beaten with a stick. This is not excitement, it is hell and very painful to watch.
solentstars Posted 9 December, 2008 Posted 9 December, 2008 if we go into administration ,you can kiss goodbye to any youth policy and i expect we will have to pay rent to a landlord for the stadium use,so it will be the worst option, has for the skates i expect them to sell their players and get relegated in the near future and have to stay at fratton. me i expect us to stay up this season and maybe go for top 6 finish in 2 years time.
graymalkin33 Posted 9 December, 2008 Posted 9 December, 2008 1) Will we go into administration? Probably not. 2) How far down the leagues will we go? We wont 3) How long will it take before we can be just like all the other clubs in terms of finance? We already are. Its just that the other clubs will eventually join us in our current predicament over time. Watford and Charlton are already on their way. 4) Will we ever make it back to the Premier League and if so when? Not in the near future. Infact possibly never - I have a feeling the prem may close its doors at some point with no promotion/relegation 5) Will we regain bragging rights over lucky skates anytime soon? No. One ray of light may be Pompeys finances. I think the only way we will get our position back is if Pompey go to the wall. So it will not be a case of us improving rather than Pompey taking a dive. 6) What position will we come in 08/09? 15-17th 7) What will be the score against Burnley? 1-1
