Avenue Saint Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 He didn't start in either of our league wins? Yes sorry, I meant the cup.

Don't miss out! #saintsfc No. it's the prices that are too big for us. Will they ever learn? It will be interesting to see if this seasons takings are greater or smaller than last year.
Saint Garrett Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Thought so done said that we were practically sold out. Sure they'll be a few Palace fans in with the Saints too.
del boy Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Just got a ticket £36.50 in total for the cheapest, in the Chapel End, not many left now Not a pleasant buying experience, not much effort made to disguise the fact that they just want your money and aren't too worried about anything else! If they're selling out I guess they don't have to try too hard
Window Cleaner Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Thought so done said that we were practically sold out. Sure they'll be a few Palace fans in with the Saints too. they'll be the ones with the rainbow laces then.
Tokyo-Saint Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 My palace mate is coming with me today. Will be in the Kingland Corner, plan to expose him at some point.
SuperMikey Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 My palace mate is coming with me today. Will be in the Kingland Corner, plan to expose him at some point. Say hi to me Tokyos, my seat's in my location!
brett24 Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Our record under MP against the lesser teams is so poor, so this is not going to be an easy one. Can see us drawing or losing this if we don't score early.
saints-cris Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Not worried about this, comfy 2-0 win here.
Wade Garrett Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Early goal will be important. Otherwise it will be the normal away tactic of putting load of bodies behind the ball and trying to spunk a goal on the counter. I reckon Osvaldo will break his duck today.
leithsaint Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Davis in for J Rod. Otherwise, the same as last weekend.
Saint-Armstrong Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 SAINTS: Boruc; Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw; Wanyama, Schneiderlin; Osvaldo, S. Davis, Lallana; Lambert. BENCH: K. Davis, Chambers, Hooiveld, Cork, Ward-Prowse, Gastón, Rodriguez.
jasonb Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Davis in for J Rod. Otherwise, the same as last weekend. Very happy with this. JRod hasn't really hit the ground running this season and I see the industry and endeavor of Davis winning the ball back a lot this afternoon... hopefully we can get it moving quicker in the final third and create a load of chances.. can we take them that is the question. A fired-up and fresh JRod coming on the final 20 minutes is also a good option to have.
Saint Garrett Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Davis in for J Rod. Otherwise, the same as last weekend. Not sure I agree with that but Davis is a tidy player and won't let us down, just not sure he's going to break them down. Hopefully he has a good game today though. Would assume it's a 4-2-3-1, can't see Davis playing wide. Osvaldo more of an AM than a striker today.
Batman Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 SAINTS: Boruc; Clyne, Fonte, Lovren, Shaw; Wanyama, Schneiderlin; Osvaldo, S. Davis, Lallana; Lambert. BENCH: K. Davis, Chambers, Hooiveld, Cork, Ward-Prowse, Gastón, Rodriguez. like the look of that team very strong bench for us
Saint-Armstrong Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Diamond formation? Wanyama holding, Schneiderlin and Davis central, Lallana behind Osvaldo and Lambert?
Batman Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Diamond formation? Wanyama holding, Schneiderlin and Davis central, Lallana behind Osvaldo and Lambert? with lots of movement, you would have thought
Hamilton Saint Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Diamond formation? Wanyama holding, Schneiderlin and Davis central, Lallana behind Osvaldo and Lambert? Merrington expects 4-3-1-2 - with Lallana in the middle behind Lambert and Osvaldo.
dubai_phil Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 Last week had a really positive vibe before heading off to the pub. This week, feel like sh1t, taxi company has just said at least 40 minutes so will prob miss kick off & Mrs D_P is busy packing for our nightmare trip to Oktoberfest & a Polish Wedding. And then the taxi turns up Alrighty then
studentsaint Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 For me I think this proves we play a 4-2 but the front 4 don't fit into a formation or structure, just movement, dynamism and flair.
orchardsaint Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 like the look of that team very strong bench for us and a good solid performance to go with it and we will all be happy with a nice 2-0 win!
W9Saint Posted 28 September, 2013 Posted 28 September, 2013 anyone got any good live feeds for the match?
