Ohio Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Stupid Liverpool, copying Saints traditional home kit.
Batman Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 we are so close to having a far better team look good at the back and good on the ball (most of the time) just not clicking at all with the final ball/shot
pangy Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 I cant see VW lasting 90,he will be hauled off for sure At work and have only caught bits here and there but he looks a liability
Barry Sanchez Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Nice work focusing on the negatives lads, nothing about how we're employing the pressing game and scared the sh*t out of Liverpool a few minutes ago. Lets be honest, lets not gloss over, its what Cortese would want.
saintbob40 Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Wanyama can't pass He can foul though! Technically inept and a ****ing liability.
niceandfriendly Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 We saw against West Brom that Wanyama can dominate the midfield... but since that game he has been really poor.
Barry Sanchez Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 I cant see VW lasting 90,he will be hauled off for sure At work and have only caught bits here and there but he looks a liability Not unless Cortese wants it he wont.
niceandfriendly Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Despite the commentators clearly seeing Lovren touched the ball, they're saying it was a clear pen
Hamilton Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Liverpool fans and several players putting pressure on the ref because he didn't give a penalty.
Sheaf Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Lucky let-off. Lovren clearly made some kind of contact with the ball though.
Ohio Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Despite the commentators clearly seeing Lovren touched the ball, they're saying it was a clear pen Agreed
Batman Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 absolute tosh in the final 3rd again do so well up to their penalty area
Hamilton Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Saints closing down very well, says Merrington.
tpbury Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Enjoying the game, but we haven't threatened
niceandfriendly Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 absolute tosh in the final 3rd again do so well up to their penalty area Oooh gaston ramirez oooh gaston ramirez People may laugh, but he is class with the final ball.
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Enjoying the game, but we haven't threatened Disagree.
Hamilton Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Lallana gets past Gerrard, who then tackles from behind. No booking!
Batman Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Lallana looks so good this season yes. looks like he gained a yard of pace
Ohio Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Oh NOW they see Gerrard get the ball!! LMFAO!
jamesfp1 Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Lovren has been such a quality acquisition
Barry Sanchez Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Oooh gaston ramirez oooh gaston ramirez People may laugh, but he is class with the final ball. Yes that did raise a giggle and titter seeing as he has been our worst ever signing.
jamesfp1 Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Good half but, mistakes from Wanyama and Lambert continue to spoil it as per the last 3 games. Lovren, Clyne and Lallana the best players on the pitch so far.
Reynoldson!! Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Bring on Ramirez! This game is crying out for him
Batman Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 HT thought ossie was good clyne very good fonte and lovren look really classy as does boruc played well, pressed well but get into great positions but the final ball is terrible lambert has been very quiet. Just dont think he offers that much in that position wanyama. jesus, get cork back in there. he is an utter liability at the mo
brightspark Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 I am genuinely worried that Wanyama is getting worse. Where can I sign the 'bring back Jack Cork' petition? We're pretty good in the first two thirds. We look like different players in the final third... unbelieveably frustrating. Osvaldo is showing up Lambert today. At least Boruc is having a stormer, the ref is winding them up and we don't look too troubled defensively. I'm smelling another 0-0.
Dr. Kucho Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Osvaldo is a joy to watch, the way he controlls the ball. Good first half against a strong Liverpool.
farawaysaint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Liverpool fans and several players putting pressure on the ref because he didn't give a penalty. Absolutely ridiculous, he clearly gets the ball and the commentators keep going on about a pen. It was a light touch but it was there.
mulletsaint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Yes that did raise a giggle and titter seeing as he has been our worst ever signing. Yeah you're right, I can't think of anyone worse.
OttawaSaint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Poor in the final third again. What is it with Lallana? good all over the pitch except in the penalty box where he fluffs the ball every time, seems to have n confidence and ****s himself when he gets a look at goal...
farawaysaint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Osvaldo is a joy to watch, the way he controlls the ball. Good first half against a strong Liverpool. Feck he looks petulant though, if we don't start winning and scoring soon I see an epic tantrum in our future.
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Osvaldo looks like he's going to get a goal. 5-1 to score at anytime on Ladbrokes...hmmm...
Sheaf Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Good half but, mistakes from Wanyama and Lambert continue to spoil it as per the last 3 games. Lovren, Clyne and Lallana the best players on the pitch so far. Agreed. Wanyama has been a liability so far today. What the hell has happened to the man that looked so unplayable against WBA on the opening day? Lallana has been good but his touch lets him down too often.
Bearsy Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 still think we look a man short in midfield. With only two CM no-one can push out wide to cover the full back. Getting away with it so far tho! Maybe the idea is to bring on another CM if we ever take a lead. Dunno if we'll get to see that anytime soon tho!
Saint86 Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Yes that did raise a giggle and titter seeing as he has been our worst ever signing. Wanyama cost more and is far far worse....
Olallana Posted 21 September, 2013 Author Posted 21 September, 2013 Good half but, mistakes from Wanyama and Lambert continue to spoil it as per the last 3 games. Lovren, Clyne and Lallana the best players on the pitch so far. Dont forget Boruc.
Stepgar Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 yes. looks like he gained a yard of pace Still god awful final ball though. All smell and no fart.
syd_barrett_saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Not a bad first half, fairly even. Hate to jump on a bandwagon but Wanyama has been absolute garbage so far. If we bring Cork on for him second half I could see us winning this.
JackFrost Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Yes that did raise a giggle and titter seeing as he has been our worst ever signing. Congratulations for illustrating perfectly that you know nothing
