Should MP be sacked if we don't get 3 points at Anfield?

I'm sure if we don't start winning games and scoring goals, Pochettino doesn't deserve any better than was dealt to Adkins. In fact he should be treated harsher seeing the money he's had to spend and his constant deluded proclamations that we're all headed for the Promise Land in grand style!

Ask Wes, Avenue and many others of the happy happy brigade and we are already in the promised land, our signings have been inspired and we will be playing European football next season at the latest..............

Remember the excuse peddled out for our form this time last year? Apparently we were adapting to the premier league. So this season we don't have that excuse and our form in MPs last 10 games isn't good. Whilst people say there are no easy games in the premier league you'd expect at least 4 points from a poor Sunderland and a weakened west ham. We need to start winning soon as cortese isn't going to be happy with turning games we should win into draws and draws into defeats.

Yes but we have a completely brand new team who have never played together this year.

Maybe we should just get Lowe back. He was a way better chairman than NC will ever be.

bring the duck hunting red faced toff back i say, I dearly miss his classic inspired quotes to the press!

Another idiotic OP. Far too frequent on this forum lately.

Especially on a forum where the average IQ is purported to be well above Mensa level, mind you the average of spelling and grammar is more 1st grade..

On a serious point, I am getting a bit concerned about our lack of goals under MP - just 4 in the last 9 PL games I read.

Maybe today will be a turning point and we will score a hatful. It would be nice for Osvaldo to open his account.

Goals in the PL are getting increasingly hard to come by, only 78 from 40 games so far I think. It's no wonder really, virtually every side has at least 50 million £ to spend so the defences are bound to be getting better. We may well spend 14 million on an offensive player but if everybody else spends 15 million on a defender or two the net result is zero. I think we've proved that point ourselves. last season we conceded 14 in 4 games, this season just 2.

Most of this thread is, rightly, in jest. However, I just saw this on the BBC

Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown on Final Score

Norwich 0-1 Aston Villa

"If you look at the money that's been spent at Norwich this summer, Chris Hughton's now coming under a bit of pressure. Four points from five matches isn't good enough."

Surely MoPo is in a similar situation, albeit one point better off, assuming we get beaten at Anfield today

I am happy to give him one more week.

Not me, we've still only scored 3 goals this season. Considering the amount of money we've spent it's simply not good enough. I think it's time for MP to go.

erm don't think so. Cortese showed when we drew at chelsea that the best time to replace a manager is after a good result. We don't want to rest on our laurels. Need a man who can take us to the next level.
