SaintBobby Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 (edited) A 0-0 draw would be unacceptable to many. I guess 1-1 or 2-2 might just stay the execution. But a defeat, and he should go, agreed? Edited 21 September, 2013 by SaintBobby
Mystic Force Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Cortese might pull the trigger but I think its a bit early for that
Leslie Charteris Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Better still, let's change the manager every time we lose - that'll keep people on their toes!
SaintBobby Posted 21 September, 2013 Author Posted 21 September, 2013 Better still, let's change the manager every time we lose - that'll keep people on their toes! Maybe even at half time. Shake it up a bit?
Saint_clark Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Cortese might pull the trigger but I think its a bit early for that Cortese will not sack him if we don't win for gods sake.
niceandfriendly Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 I'll be surprised if he even travels with the team up to Liverpool. It's all over for him.
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 If we dont score the pressure will increase. Fact.
max_saints Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 LOL a face palm emoticon can't even explain how I feel about the new low this forum has gone to. sigh
cadiz saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 No MP should not be sacked but perhaps you should be banned from this forum for stupidity.
Alain Perrin Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 This forum is dying. In the old day the trolls had a bit of class, now they're not even trying. Sent from my RM-821_eu_euro1_276 using Board Express
PercyR Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 I was thinking the other day that our translator might become a good coach, after all didn't Jose Mourinho start as a translator. MP should be worried...
BG_Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 The reaction to this thread is priceless!
Cascadia Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 A 0-0 draw would be unacceptable to many. I guess 1-1 or 2-2 might just stay the execution. But a defeat, and he should go, agreed? I can't even tell if these threads are sarcastic anymore. Only 3000 posts. If this was serious I would expect you to have about 56 posts, sarcastic then maybe around 6000. Inception levels of sarcasm within sarcasm within sarcasm, then maybe Turkish type numbers. Nice work. I think. Possibly. Maybe.
Whitey Grandad Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Ridiculous suggestion. Not even worth replying to.
Andy Durman Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Ridiculous suggestion. Not even worth replying to. You just did LOL
Bearsy Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Hi mods can we have a poll please? a) ponch should be sack if we are 0-0 b) ponch should be sack at half time c) ponch should be sack before kick off
david in sweden Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 A 0-0 draw would be unacceptable to many. I guess 1-1 or 2-2 might just stay the execution. But a defeat, and he should go, agreed? with Liverpool in the position they are..... I think a lot of teams will come back from Anfield empty-handed this season. Of course, we want the bookies take a shower but to torpedo the manager's future on the basis of the result of todays game..would be totally ridiculous....as is the suggestion that he'll go if we lose.
simo Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 He should of been sacked after failing to beat Sunderland imo

Bearsy Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 He should of been sacked after failing to beat Sunderland imo I wouldn't of waited that long. If we sacked him before Sunderland we could have two more points.
dubai_phil Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Ericofarabia is at Anfield today. He can step in at short notice. I'll go with the sack after kick off but before HT option please Bearsy. Would help with the FFP rules as well seeing he is going to be at the game anyway, won't even need to pay his expenses, and a quick trip to Tesco for a 16L can of OSH should cover his fees

How long would you give Eric to turn it around? I would say 10-15 minutes into the second half Cortese should review his options.
niceandfriendly Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 If we don't win he should be hung Why not drawn and quartered also? Too lenient imho.
Turkish Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Cortese probably has more pressing things on his mind right now, like furnishing his new luxury London pad.

Bearsy Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Cortese probably has more pressing things on his mind right now, like furnishing his new luxury London pad. More ITK from Turkish! Is there truth in the rumour bout relocating the club to London then? I heard he put a bid in for Upton Park.
Turkish Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 More ITK from Turkish! Is there truth in the rumour bout relocating the club to London then? I heard he put a bid in for Upton Park. We are going to be renamed London Saints and build a new 150,000 seater stadium on Hyde Park.
northam soul Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Cortese probably has more pressing things on his mind right now, like furnishing his new luxury London pad. What, he doesnt live in the area then no s****y Thornhill penthouse. He needs to show some affiliation to the south of Englands biggest city and catchment area.
Turkish Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 What, he doesnt live in the area then no s****y Thornhill penthouse. He needs to show some affiliation to the south of Englands biggest city and catchment area. I found it a bit strange considering he is meant to insist that all players live with an hour of Southampton. He's got an office there now though so I suppose he can still work from there.
hypochondriac Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 We are going to be renamed London Saints and build a new 150,000 seater stadium on Hyde Park. Is it his second house? His son goes to school in Southampton as I know his teacher.
CB Fry Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 We are going to be renamed London Saints and build a new 150,000 seater stadium on Hyde Park. This is going to upset the thousands of fans who pour into St Mary's from Devon, Cornwall and Somerset for every home game. Digraceful we are turning our back on our catchment area.
OldNick Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 saintbobby was being a tad sarcastic me thinks
Turkish Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 This is going to upset the thousands of fans who pour into St Mary's from Devon, Cornwall and Somerset for every home game. Digraceful we are turning our back on our catchment area. Is actually be done with the thoughts of of fans just below than London-Birmingham-Liverpool line that makes up our catchment area, it was thought its easier to get trains to London from Crewe, Wrexham, Worcester and Gloucester than its to southampton, so Cortese Is thinking of them, because he's a great guy and loves the fans. Making SFC accessible to all, the people's chairman.
Turkish Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Is it his second house? His son goes to school in Southampton as I know his teacher. Must be I guess, just got told he had moved to London and has an office there now.
The Kraken Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Must be I guess, just got told he had moved to London and has an office there now. There's definitely a London office that a couple of the sales/sponsorship team work out of.
Toomer Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 He should have been sacked at the end of last season because he did not get us into Europe;)
Saint-Beer Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Is this a Joke thread ?! The posts on here get more and more ridiculous. 0-0 would be a cracking result at Anfield.
saintstr1 Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 All joking aside I for one am concerned about pooch's capabilities
Toadhall Saint Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 All joking aside I for one am concerned about pooch's capabilities In what way? I mean all of them. Some of them? What capabilities are you referring to?
sotonjoe Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 In all seriousness, I can see mopo out after ten games if this poor run of form continues. Adkins' slow start along the coast won't have gone unnoticed by the Don, and if a favourable deal can be done to bring Adkins Our King back to St Marys, it might be a move to suit all parties. The return of Adkins would reunite our fractured fan base for sure. One Nigel Adkins!
Barry Sanchez Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 I thought everyone wanted to live in the New Forest for their ponies and it was the attraction for our awesome signings signing in the first place,
Window Cleaner Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 A bove ante, ab asino retro, a stulto undique caveto told you it was a fitting motto for this forum.
Badger Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 Ask the same question after the home games v Palace, and Swansea depending on results. Today is probably a game that MP will not be called to task for even if we lose heavily. (not that a 4-0 win away at Bristol Rovers, or 2-2 away at Chelsea have saved his predecessors of course). I remain convinced that NC probably still has Di Masturbatteo's phone no on speed dial though.
Barry Sanchez Posted 21 September, 2013 Posted 21 September, 2013 A bove ante, ab asino retro, a stulto undique caveto told you it was a fitting motto for this forum. Indeed..................
