JN9 Posted 20 September, 2013 Share Posted 20 September, 2013 Anyone got any thoughts on this one? I personally can't see anything other than a quick finish from Haye. £15 very badly spent...
Seaford Saint Posted 20 September, 2013 Share Posted 20 September, 2013 Haye is a boxer but Fury is an incredibly strong guy. It depends if either of them land a telling blow. I am sitting on the fence, if haye connects first then he will win but the same is true of Fury. Haye appears fitter, I wish I could afford Sky. Baldbarbarian Posted 20 September, 2013 Share Posted 20 September, 2013 Haye KO in middle rounds I think. Fury is a big guy but easy to hit & clumsy, his footwork is awful.
JN9 Posted 20 September, 2013 Author Share Posted 20 September, 2013 I think sky sports are doing a good job a selling a fight that should never be PPV... think Haye V Harrison. I hope i'm proved wrong though.

Wade Garrett Posted 21 September, 2013 Share Posted 21 September, 2013 Postponed because Haye is injured. He's got a little bit of form for this. Heart the size of a pea.

Any respect I had for that man is gone. Seriously, what the hell was he doing to sustain that injury? Sparring!? Really?

Usually spar until a week before the fight. Nasty cut but even so he has form for pulling out of fights!. Klitscho / Charr & now Fury

JN9 Posted 23 September, 2013 Author Share Posted 23 September, 2013 No. I get that. But what kind of sparring where they undertaking? Were Swords part of the agenda? By the sounds of it it was a freak accident. It is not unusual for fighters to be sparring a week before a fight plus he was wearing a head guard. Even if he wanted to the British Boxing Board wouldn't have let him fight with that cut. One punch and it would be open and the fight would be completely pointless. This has nothing to do with his heart, he sounded genuinely gutted.

Can't see it myself, surely there are easier injuries to fake. Are people seriousl suggesting that he cut open his own face?
Baldbarbarian Posted 23 September, 2013 Share Posted 23 September, 2013 yep, madness isnt it. although he has previous for it. Klitschko the first time round & Manuel Charr

Baldbarbarian Posted 18 November, 2013 Share Posted 18 November, 2013 Rearranged fight off due to Haye shoulder injury. I feel for the fans (me included) who have paid for tickets travel + hotels in advance. Shafted. Haye has no credibility left, a constant let down. JN9 Posted 18 November, 2013 Author Share Posted 18 November, 2013 Yeah, as much as I sympathise with the fans like you who have forked out money it does look like this is unavoidable. Fury now going after Deontay Wilder as a possible WBC eliminator. Shows what a sorry state the Heavyweight division is in...

Totally agree with that, Deontay Wilder has 30KOs in 30 fights but against who, really sorry state!. It looks as though they are trying for a fight at the same venue, if so then I will attend anyway. Its a sad state of affairs that Haye has to post pictures of himself in a hospital bed for the injury to be believed.
