I'm in the mood over xmas for some classic comedy standups that I may have missed.

I watched Izzards 'Dress to kill' recently and thought it was just "ok"... can anyone else suggests some classics I may have missed?

Fast show "live".brilliant stuff.

Really came across well on the small screen,i saw the tour and it was outstanding.

Gervais' "Animals tour" show is great also, far better than "Fame"IMO.

Eddie Murphy "Raw" is superb.

Any early Robin Williams always makes me chortle.

Eddie Izzard's 'Definate Article' is much better than 'Dressed to Kill', and one of my fave stand-up dvds ever.

Bill Hicks 'Revelations' is very good and filmed in London so its geared for a UK audience.

Dylan Moran 'Monster' is tops, his follow up was very under-whelming.

You can't go wrong with some classic Richard Prior or anything with Frank Sidebottom.

I recently aquired the Bill Bailey Collection (Cosmic Jam, Bewilderness and Part Troll in one box-set) and no mater how many times I watch it I still find it hilarious. well recommended.
