Recommendation of hearing aid shops Shirley area

Can any one recommend a hearing aid shop for the father in law in the Shirley area of Southampton

Also what sort of budget price should we expect.

Don't touch a hearing aid shop unlessx you like wasting several hundreds of pounds.them. See your GP and go NHS. Absolutely brilliant

We were heading down the Nhs route

However as he has significant sums in the bank and more coming in than he can spend I wanted to know the options.

Tony nhs route is best and they can regularly re calibrate them and fix them if needed with no extra cost . Oh and they have digital aids as well . Now what was it you said . I'm not good at lip reading

We will give the NHS route a chance. However it's got a bit serious as he's taking all the wrong meds because he didn't hear the instructions and he broke 2 bones dodging traffic he didn't hear. His GP is now on side.

Well, three months later he has finally got his hearing aids. He is adjusting to them. They are already a great improvement and quite discrete. He has managed not to get run over in the mean time.

 

I am resting my voice now!

Well done, I'm pleased for both of you. My mum has just turned 94 and is very hard of hearing but we can still talk on the phone. At least, she talks at me.
