on topics, have we stole all scotland's north sea oil yet? We might want to work double shifts to make sure we get it all before independance

And then we can have sound government when the loons from Ukip take power and take us back to days of the empire and fantasy island.no more votes for women as well.

Dull but true fact. The Iraqi invasion of Kuwait was triggered by the Kuwaitis slant drilling into Iraqi oilfields and refusing to stop.

Interesting comments on radio Scotland this morning .

Current military assets in Scotland are occupied by uk defence force .

Once we get independence we will have a stronger defence than we currently have

SNP will close Faslane . But in the same breath will have to spend 2 billion buying military hardware including submarines .

Bloody SNP have not got a clue

Why would they need to spend 2 billion on defence anyway or are they expecting a invasion some time soon :)

I live in Edinburgh and I can tell you right now that the vast majority of folks up here will vote No because they know the whole thing doesn't stand up. There's also a feeling Salmond has to go for independence because that's what the hardcore of his party want him to do but in reality a yes vote or a close no vote just gives him more leeway for devolved power/decision making

with regards to faslane. The local economy up there litterally lives of the base. It creates a huge amount of money for the locals.

the MOD will move the site, to maybe Wales. or, the base will be an annexe of England and fenced off

The more and more I hear from the SNP, the more convince I am that they are barking.

they have got carried away with the idea of being in charge of their own country and have seemingly forgotten to address the various elephants in the room. TodaY sturgeon is planning national holidays. How about working out what you are going to spend on those days first.

I like this quote that I have just found about Salmond and the debate

I am..OR WAS a yes voter but that has changed after watching that

Alex got politically battered by what is now a back bencher in London (and Edinburgh)

I want to know why Alex has not resigned in shame?

What an absolute embarrassment he made of himself with many of those answers
