Details now on official site - Tickets over £40 again and on sale Mon 23rd September

http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/tickets-man-utd-vs-saints-1059248.aspx

A quick google check suggests blocks 230, 231 and 233 hold just over 700 each and 232 holds just under 500 so about 2600 odd seats available

Presume Man U would have had to offer more if we wanted it

They usually only give around 3,000, so only around 400 short of the full allocation. I don't get why we're not taking full allocations at many games this season so far when we sold out most games last season and have continued to do so this time around.
To be fair, at those sorts of prices, I reckon 2.5k is about the right allocation for us. Couldn't see us taking 3k at all.

I believe Man U get special dispensation as they have such a big stadium they can offer slightly less to away fans. I believe it's about 7% not the normal 10%. But yes, we would get more.

Can now only buy tickets that relate to your season ticket age. For f*ck sake. On one 'over 65' season ticket I can't even buy an adult ticket with it which would give Saints more money than if I was to buy the over 65..

It would be the home side that benefits.

The club have amended the ticketing system because of abuse. Older fans were buying kids tickets and there was also abuse of the priority system. If an over 65 can't make the game, then an adult can not use his season ticket number. I can't see what the issue is, surely its only fair that the swapping of numbers is cut down.

You seem to be obsessed with complaining about the things the system is actually doing right, as opposed to the endless things wrong with it.

No, I think the most any club in the PRem needs to offer away fans is 3k.

It's normally 3,000 or 10%, whichever is fewer. With a few shameless tweaks downwards for segregation, which strangely always seems to sit on top of the away seats not the home ones at certain grounds when there's a capacity crowd.
