stevegrant Posted 17 September, 2013 Posted 17 September, 2013 They usually only give around 3,000, so only around 400 short of the full allocation. I don't get why we're not taking full allocations at many games this season so far when we sold out most games last season and have continued to do so this time around.
Sour Mash Posted 17 September, 2013 Posted 17 September, 2013 Crazy prices for a regular game of league football.

To be fair, at those sorts of prices, I reckon 2.5k is about the right allocation for us. Couldn't see us taking 3k at all.

View From The Top Posted 18 September, 2013 Posted 18 September, 2013 Anyone who pays those prices is f***ing insane.
Saint Garrett Posted 18 September, 2013 Posted 18 September, 2013 Anyone who pays those prices is f***ing insane. Agree. It's ridiculous. But chose to do this one instead of Liverpool this year! I must be insane!

I believe it's about 7% not the normal 10%. But yes, we would get more.
stevegrant Posted 19 September, 2013 Posted 19 September, 2013 The rules state that clubs must offer the lower amount of either 3,000 seats or 10% of capacity.

kwsaint Posted 19 September, 2013 Posted 19 September, 2013 No, I think the most any club in the PRem needs to offer away fans is 3k. Which works out as about 4%ish
Saint Garrett Posted 23 September, 2013 Posted 23 September, 2013 On sale now, got mine pretty pain free this morning !
Saint Fan CaM Posted 23 September, 2013 Posted 23 September, 2013 Not been to Old Trafford before and it just so happens I'm free that day - no brainer...gotta go.
Griffo Posted 23 September, 2013 Posted 23 September, 2013 Can now only buy tickets that relate to your season ticket age. For f*ck sake. On one 'over 65' season ticket I can't even buy an adult ticket with it which would give Saints more money than if I was to buy the over 65..
torsaint Posted 23 September, 2013 Posted 23 September, 2013 Strange situation this am. Was 231 in queue then through one second later. All smooth thereafter.
Lord Duckhunter Posted 23 September, 2013 Posted 23 September, 2013 Can now only buy tickets that relate to your season ticket age. For f*ck sake. On one 'over 65' season ticket I can't even buy an adult ticket with it which would give Saints more money than if I was to buy the over 65.. It would be the home side that benefits. The club have amended the ticketing system because of abuse. Older fans were buying kids tickets and there was also abuse of the priority system. If an over 65 can't make the game, then an adult can not use his season ticket number. I can't see what the issue is, surely its only fair that the swapping of numbers is cut down.

On one 'over 65' season ticket I can't even buy an adult ticket with it which would give Saints more money than if I was to buy the over 65.. You seem to be obsessed with complaining about the things the system is actually doing right, as opposed to the endless things wrong with it.
The9 Posted 23 September, 2013 Posted 23 September, 2013 No, I think the most any club in the PRem needs to offer away fans is 3k. It's normally 3,000 or 10%, whichever is fewer. With a few shameless tweaks downwards for segregation, which strangely always seems to sit on top of the away seats not the home ones at certain grounds when there's a capacity crowd.
DaveyR Posted 23 September, 2013 Posted 23 September, 2013 Will it make general sale?? Be ****ed off if it doesn't!
red&white56 Posted 25 September, 2013 Posted 25 September, 2013 Will it make general sale?? Be ****ed off if it doesn't! I hope so - despite the steep ticket prices I fancy us to get a point and want to be there to see it!
