Always very depressing and negative comments on here. Guess that's what the internet is for but can't help thinking it would completely ruin their confidence if they came on here and searched for their name.

On the contrary - the collective, crowd-sourced expertise on here is seen as inspirational and guiding. It's a cornerstone of Poch and NCs revolutionary plan for us.

I think the players probably do. The level of tactical genius, in depth knowledge of football finances and not forgetting the ambition and passion show by the 'man on the moon' brigade would act as an inspiration to any talented footballer. In fact mongbsords seem to be an untapped market that Soccerball club would do well to recruit from when looking for coaches, tactical gurus, motivational speakers and financial expects.

From Luke Shaw's twitter comments he appears frequently bored asking people if they want to play him at Fifa on xbox and requesting people to tweet so he can follow them so don't think a question of too fulfilled a life to have time to look.

Why he would want to is another matter although I still think there is reasonable debate and some insightful posters although still a tremendous amount of ****e on here

I am quite sure you don't mean offence when using the term 'mongboard' but have you considered that using the word 'mong' is quite offensive and ill informed when use to deride?

If someone is offended by something said on an internet forum which they are not then they deserve to be called whatever it is they are being called. If they are what has been said then it's a great leveller in dealing with their ailments to know that a large swath of fellow posters share similar symptoms so can fully empathise with their plight.

He knows exactly how offensive it is, and takes great delight in offending as many people as he can.On a good forum moderators ban trolls and those who are offensive continually but here Turkish gets away with it and his infantile behaviour is encouraged to develop as a result. As a result due to this and a couple of others most of the good posters have either left or are no longer full members and rarely post.

Second on banning Turkish. It's incredible that he's still allowed to post. Has almost single-handedly ruined this place, which I'm sure takes great pleasure in.

I find it hilarious the people the spend their time on threads responding to a perfectly reasonable post by moaning about it, claiming others are runing the thread and demanding they be banned. Vectis, who has a long hed obsession with me and is still unable or unwilling to back up his accusions of racism he levelled at me several months ago based simply on the fact i dont rate Tanadari Lee and "Aussie Saint20" sole contrubition to the thread has been to moan about it and demand bans!!! Yet it other that are runing the forum, You couldn't make it up!!

I'd be very surprised if the players didn't pop in here every now and again. Human nature.

 

You need a lot of self belief to make it as a footballer and I doubt too many of their egos are bruised by anonymous internet comments. Firstly, it is nowhere near as bad as the bile the receive in person at matches. Secondly, a lot of internet criticism will come across as laughably uninformed to them (see flip flopping opinions on players' ability, based on a game by game basis). Thirdly, they will have a lot more faith in the opinions of the manager and coaches than those of Joe Punter on tinternet.

I don't think it would make a blind bit of difference to him. I think you need to understand the hierarchy of posters that have developed on this forum.

They can't expect a cross section of fans to all have positive opinions of them though, surely? That doesn't happen at the stadium so it definitely won't on an anonymous Internet forum. They have to have more confidence than that to play in front of 32,000 fans who are watching their every move.

 

I can't imagine wading through pages of this guff if I was a player.

No one has an obsession with you, only in your tiny little mind could anyone be obsessed with a pathetic WUM. You are just a sad little troll who does not know the meaning of common decency and continue to post offensive material without understanding even how it is offensive. The pity is that the Mods continue to completely disregard the board rules that you break many times per day and they are the ones who in the end will have no forum to moderate.

I don't really have a problem with anyone on here, although some people seem to take it very seriously. Vectis racism allegation was hilarious, accusing me of not rating Lee because he was Japanese, when on the very same day I'd said I rated Yoshida. :lol:
