fuk me, you are unreal today

first of all we were being out played, when we havent

then you dont have the ball, when we have had most of the ball

now osvaldo has done nothing

lallana and jrod have done **** all as well, whilst i know its fun to pick on the new guys but these name players have also done feck all.

Get Gaston on for lallana at least as he looked on the same wave length as Dani the other game. West Ham are actually the better team and I don't know if I am the only one but we seem to of got worse and worse since poch came, we don't even press anymore ??

What an absolutely dreadful first half. We look sh*t and west ham are worse

fonte and lovren look V good

ossie has done well, bar his miss (great save from them)

rodriguez been crap but he offers a bit of pace

wanyama. holy crap. terrible

Need to change things about if we are going to win this game. WHU are working really hard to stop us playing it out from the back so we need to be smarter in midfield, and Wanyama isn't the right player to do that. Cork not on the bench (!?) so maybe get S Davis on for Wanyama.

No he hasn't, he's done nothing yet again and people just ride his d#ck assuming he's just too good like Ramirez last season. Clyne's probably been about our best player

well, apart from he has done more than most

would go for JWP instead of wanyama

I think Cork would provide more for Osvaldo than Wanyama does, more creative going forward. More able to run with the ball. Can't believe he's not on the bench. Too good a player to leave out.

Pretty much sums it up. How many times has Wanyama given it away, been terrible.

Rodriguez and Wanyama have been dire, Schneiderlin little better, Clyne and Shaw have been marked out of the game as forward threats apart from one or two occaisions. Osvaldo looks to have put more effort in than anyone else out there, but it isn't looking good as far as Osvaldo forming a partnership with Lambert is concerned.

Thought I would pop in here at half time. Wont be doing it again. Same clueless idiots commenting on a game they love but have little understanding of.

Hmm... got to say... Wanyama has given the ball away a little too much and been surprisingly weak on the ball. Does anyone else think he under hits the ball when he tries to pass as well???

I'm not hammering the lad just an observation also he's not the only one guilty of gifting possession.

A bit of a mixed bag really.

I think we are struggling to move the ball through midfield and we can't get Clyne or Shaw into the game further up the pitch to link with Adam and JRod who are both going looking for the ball too much... A lot of this ugly disjointed play has to be attributed to West Ham's excellent spoiling tactics. Dare I say it a little Pochettino-esque albeit without the players to move into dangerous areas quickly.

its seems to me that with both lambert and osvlado in the team, we are hitting it long more as we are out numbered in the middle

that does not bother me as such just we are not creating THAT much.

but we look far more solid than at any time last season

this is v.true but i wish you would post ur opinions! I only pay my £5 to read the football analysis of experts like influx. I know a lot of us do.

he is basically playing as a CB in midfield

I don't know, CBs can usually find their team mates with short passes.

Cork won't be getting left out for too many more games if Wanyama keeps playing like he has so far today and last week.

V poor first half, think we need Davis or JWP on. Way to little movement from us.

In other news, FC Utrecht are leading 2-1 thanks to goals from De Ridder.

lmao...joker

Ok own up which genius paid £13 million for big unit Victor Wanyama? Worst purchase since the Yanks bought the wrong bridge over the Thames.

Sacred cow though it would seem. Morgan will probably get hooked- feel sorry for him!

This is the first game in ages that I've watched as well as be on the forum. Jesus most of you are full of ****. Normally I just read the forum for what I thought would be a fairly accurate report on the match, having seen it for myself I know now to take the forum with a fairly heavy dose of salt.

With SRL and Ossie playing together we wonn't see the pressing/passing game we are used to under MoPo, cause we give up the fluidity of our midfield.

He needs to recognise this, and quick.

Not great, but could be worse. At least we are the best team. At times we look a little "young " and need someone to get hold of the ball. Wanyama has been poor, needs to show for the ball to get it out of defence.

Oh well, here's the second half.

I don't fully agree with all the Wanyama dissing. He HAS given the ball away a lot... but usually when under intense pressure. Osvaldo has shown some spectacular touches. I live in hope of a better second half.

I reckon we'll blitz this half and win 3-0 with a scintillating display. We'll click!

Wanyama late back on the pitch. Was he "doing a Puncheon"? Or perhaps he made a pass at a woman in the dressing room which missed its target... :-D
