niceandfriendly Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Osvaldo must be thinking "what the f**k have I joined here?"
Turkish Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 What an absolutely dreadful first half. We look sh*t and west ham are worse
adrian lord Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Calling Cork and Ramirez for after the break!
Batman Posted 15 September, 2013 Author Posted 15 September, 2013 Has done nothing except miss a good chance Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free fuk me, you are unreal today first of all we were being out played, when we havent then you dont have the ball, when we have had most of the ball now osvaldo has done nothing
Pastor Patrón Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 been the best player on the pitch No he hasn't, he's done nothing yet again and people just ride his d#ck assuming he's just too good like Ramirez last season. Clyne's probably been about our best player
Convict Colony Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 lallana and jrod have done **** all as well, whilst i know its fun to pick on the new guys but these name players have also done feck all. Get Gaston on for lallana at least as he looked on the same wave length as Dani the other game. West Ham are actually the better team and I don't know if I am the only one but we seem to of got worse and worse since poch came, we don't even press anymore ??
DT Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 fuk me, you are unreal today first of all we were being out played, when we havent then you dont have the ball, when we have had most of the ball now osvaldo has done nothing Good summary Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
Batman Posted 15 September, 2013 Author Posted 15 September, 2013 What an absolutely dreadful first half. We look sh*t and west ham are worse fonte and lovren look V good ossie has done well, bar his miss (great save from them) rodriguez been crap but he offers a bit of pace wanyama. holy crap. terrible
Sheaf Saint Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Need to change things about if we are going to win this game. WHU are working really hard to stop us playing it out from the back so we need to be smarter in midfield, and Wanyama isn't the right player to do that. Cork not on the bench (!?) so maybe get S Davis on for Wanyama.
Yorkshire Saint Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Truly one of the worst halves of premier league football I have ever seen - Wanyama WTF?
Batman Posted 15 September, 2013 Author Posted 15 September, 2013 No he hasn't, he's done nothing yet again and people just ride his d#ck assuming he's just too good like Ramirez last season. Clyne's probably been about our best player well, apart from he has done more than most

Bearsy Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 i like Lambert + Osvaldo but we're gonna have to sacrifice one of them to get control of midfield
Pastor Patrón Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 well, apart from he has done more than most Scored less goals then Jose Fonte, class act.
Batman Posted 15 September, 2013 Author Posted 15 September, 2013 Scored less goals then Jose Fonte, class act. so has many players
Manuel Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 I think Cork would provide more for Osvaldo than Wanyama does, more creative going forward. More able to run with the ball. Can't believe he's not on the bench. Too good a player to leave out.
geoffnut Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 What a dreadful game so far, we just can't keep possession of the ball. Must improve in the second half or we will be beaten by a very poor West Ham side.
Turkish Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 fonte and lovren look V good ossie has done well, bar his miss (great save from them) rodriguez been crap but he offers a bit of pace wanyama. holy crap. terrible Pretty much sums it up. How many times has Wanyama given it away, been terrible.
Bewildered Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Rodriguez and Wanyama have been dire, Schneiderlin little better, Clyne and Shaw have been marked out of the game as forward threats apart from one or two occaisions. Osvaldo looks to have put more effort in than anyone else out there, but it isn't looking good as far as Osvaldo forming a partnership with Lambert is concerned.
Pastor Patrón Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Gotta start pressing teams again and get the wing backs going forward. Without the wing backs putting in crosses we're utterly useless in attack
Batman Posted 15 September, 2013 Author Posted 15 September, 2013 Pretty much sums it up. How many times has Wanyama given it away, been terrible. he is basically playing as a CB in midfield
Ohio Saint Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 So, Boruc is the holy goalie and Wanyama is the holy crap!?
Barry Sanchez Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Calling Cork and Ramirez for after the break! Cork is not in the squad so we are snookered there oh guru and Ramirez is Gash so no lets keep it as it is until 60.
influx Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Thought I would pop in here at half time. Wont be doing it again. Same clueless idiots commenting on a game they love but have little understanding of.
Dr. Kucho Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 V poor first half, think we need Davis or JWP on. Way to little movement from us. In other news, FC Utrecht are leading 2-1 thanks to goals from De Ridder.
verlaine1979 Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Should probably switch JWP for Wanyama & Gaston for either JRod or Lallana.
jasonb Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Hmm... got to say... Wanyama has given the ball away a little too much and been surprisingly weak on the ball. Does anyone else think he under hits the ball when he tries to pass as well??? I'm not hammering the lad just an observation also he's not the only one guilty of gifting possession. A bit of a mixed bag really. I think we are struggling to move the ball through midfield and we can't get Clyne or Shaw into the game further up the pitch to link with Adam and JRod who are both going looking for the ball too much... A lot of this ugly disjointed play has to be attributed to West Ham's excellent spoiling tactics. Dare I say it a little Pochettino-esque albeit without the players to move into dangerous areas quickly.
Batman Posted 15 September, 2013 Author Posted 15 September, 2013 its seems to me that with both lambert and osvlado in the team, we are hitting it long more as we are out numbered in the middle that does not bother me as such just we are not creating THAT much. but we look far more solid than at any time last season
ART Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Matt Le Tiss summed it up "You don't pay 17 million and he misses a chance like that"
Bearsy Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Thought I would pop in here at half time. Wont be doing it again. Same clueless idiots commenting on a game they love but have little understanding of. this is v.true but i wish you would post ur opinions! I only pay my £5 to read the football analysis of experts like influx. I know a lot of us do.
Bewildered Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 he is basically playing as a CB in midfield I don't know, CBs can usually find their team mates with short passes. Cork won't be getting left out for too many more games if Wanyama keeps playing like he has so far today and last week.
Pastor Patrón Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 JWP for Wanyama, Ramirez for Rodriguez please
influx Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 V poor first half, think we need Davis or JWP on. Way to little movement from us. In other news, FC Utrecht are leading 2-1 thanks to goals from De Ridder. lmao...joker
influx Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 this is v.true but i wish you would post ur opinions! I only pay my £5 to read the football analysis of experts like influx. I know a lot of us do. haha....my missus just told me to shuttup.. go figure.
Batman Posted 15 September, 2013 Author Posted 15 September, 2013 west ham pressing us a lot think we should go longer, earlier and out west ham, west ham
saintbob40 Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Ok own up which genius paid £13 million for big unit Victor Wanyama? Worst purchase since the Yanks bought the wrong bridge over the Thames. Sacred cow though it would seem. Morgan will probably get hooked- feel sorry for him!
MongoNeil Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 This is the first game in ages that I've watched as well as be on the forum. Jesus most of you are full of ****. Normally I just read the forum for what I thought would be a fairly accurate report on the match, having seen it for myself I know now to take the forum with a fairly heavy dose of salt.
Suhari Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 With SRL and Ossie playing together we wonn't see the pressing/passing game we are used to under MoPo, cause we give up the fluidity of our midfield. He needs to recognise this, and quick.
stug76 Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Not great, but could be worse. At least we are the best team. At times we look a little "young " and need someone to get hold of the ball. Wanyama has been poor, needs to show for the ball to get it out of defence. Oh well, here's the second half.
NewYorkSaint Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 I don't fully agree with all the Wanyama dissing. He HAS given the ball away a lot... but usually when under intense pressure. Osvaldo has shown some spectacular touches. I live in hope of a better second half.
pangy Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Wanyama is so off the pace he can't even make it onto the pitch in time for KO
SNSUN Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 I reckon we'll blitz this half and win 3-0 with a scintillating display. We'll click! Wanyama late back on the pitch. Was he "doing a Puncheon"? Or perhaps he made a pass at a woman in the dressing room which missed its target... :-D
Sheaf Saint Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Lallana hits the post for the 2nd time this season. Edit: It was Lambert.
sussexsaint Posted 15 September, 2013 Posted 15 September, 2013 Wanyama has a crap and is much better
