Needs to go to at least an NPC club if he's to prove his worth as a potential PL keeper.
Olallana Posted 12 September, 2013 Share Posted 12 September, 2013 Would make perfect sense as long as he can be recalled in case a injury to Boruc or Davis occur. Copper is the one that U21 will use for obvious reason so for him to get games this makes sense.

Cropper is probably a far better keeper already than Gazzaniga will ever be, rash and foolish acquisition, still I guess that's what being desperate to be shot of Forecast does for you. Are they still a thing? I think they're only being scrapped next season but they are only available to members of the Football League and not the Prem, the specific emergency loan rules for keepers may be different though? Our 21's are still amongst the best and just because of a couple of hiccups will soon be up there with the best. Our squad has many quality players that can be used and doesn't need Chambers,Ward-Prouse and Shaw.

farawaysaint Posted 12 September, 2013 Author Share Posted 12 September, 2013 Results would suggest otherwise. I watch the highlights on the OS, they're not very good you know. In the u18's we're tied on points with Arsenal and West-Ham, probably the two other most famed academies in the Southern Group and it is early days so I'm not too concerned there. The u21's on the other hand are second from bottom of the log with the second worst goal difference but we've only lost to Chelsea, Reading and Sunderland so far who are all in the top 10 (with Sunderland topping the table) and we beat Liverpool away who were exceptional last year. I have faith in the coaching staff, it'll all come right in the end.

First team football at any level is important for him right now. It's all well and good saying it needs to be NPC or whatever, but who in that league will be willing to take the risk of having him as number 1 at his age? ART Posted 13 September, 2013 Share Posted 13 September, 2013 It was a number of years ago. Was meant to post something else I think and must have copied the wrong link... Thanks for finally clarifying the matter. At the time, I was in the process of reporting the link showing 2 pedophiles committing acts with a young boy that I stumbled upon in a Google search. After I then came onto the forum to answer a post. As happens sometimes, the link I was intending to copy, ( concerning a Saints director) didn't take and I inadvertently pasted the gay porn link. It was sometime before reaction alerted me to what had happened. It was too late to delete it as a certain member refused to remove it from his post. Tokyo-Saint Posted 13 September, 2013 Share Posted 13 September, 2013 Yeah I had the same problem before but with hot Japanese porn stars. I was just in the process of reporting the link when I accidentally posted the link on TMS. Bloody mods were all over it. I tried to tell them I was just reporting it but they wouldn't listen. They just kept asking for more.

austsaint Posted 13 September, 2013 Share Posted 13 September, 2013 The odd thing is the Club is generally hellbent on promoting youth/academy players en masse but continue to select Kelvin as understudy to AB. Despite the couple of howlers last year Gazza showed much promise and should be sitting on the bench in my view wih Kelvin taking a coaching/team spirit/ambassadorial role. They were good enough for us at the times when they were brought in, events overtook them and it is not fair to imply what you are implying at all, that these players didn't step up to the plate or that transfer judgement in Adkins' time was flawed. angelman Posted 13 September, 2013 Share Posted 13 September, 2013 ^ agree, although I do see Gazza as being more long term than others, who were there to get us promoted. Forren I see as a bit of a panic buy, although I view it as insurance, should our fragile defence get injured. It didn't and he wasn't needed, but he was there in case things turned out bad.
