I've met a lot of highly intelligent people who were extremely gullible. You could talk them into anything

I remember a "Through the Keyhole" episode where Jimmy Saville left his copy of MENSA's magazine on his coffee table to impress the viewers. That is what you are wasting good cash on. Paying a membership fee in order to impress people that actually think you are kinda gullible for falling for a trick like that.
