CB Fry Posted 3 September, 2013 Share Posted 3 September, 2013 I remember that due to a mix up with paperwork and fax machines not working, the double signing of Ken Monkou and Perry Groves was not announced until many hours after the window slammed shut on 31st August. shurlock Posted 3 September, 2013 Share Posted 3 September, 2013 I remember that due to a mix up with paperwork and fax machines not working, the double signing of Ken Monkou and Perry Groves was not announced until many hours after the window slammed shut on 31st August. The Monkou - Groves double signing was a proper coup and I thought the club couldn't outdo itself after capturing Speedie and Dixon. Seriously, though, the Berkovic/Ostenstad deals were class. Who needs Jim White and some pencil-necked mongs when you had Teamtalk and Clubcall to run up calls to Mars on.
eurosaint Posted 3 September, 2013 Share Posted 3 September, 2013 Relieved that we kept Corkie and surprised that we let Punch and Mayuka go without direct replacements ! Reckon now that Sharp, Lee and Barnard will go on loan somewhere soon, but feel that we might just be a little bit short in the squad should we get any key injuries or suspensions ! alpine_saint Posted 3 September, 2013 Share Posted 3 September, 2013 Bite potential rating = 8.5/10 Indeed. If this isnt a trolling thread, I hail from Swaziland. It looks a reasonable window on paper, maybe a bit better than that if Osvaldo and VW settle.
pap Posted 3 September, 2013 Share Posted 3 September, 2013 Indeed. If this isnt a trolling thread, I hail from Swaziland. Strange place to call a cab, mate. Don't they have taxis in Austria, or were they banned along with the notion that many Austrians were actually really into that Nazi sh!t? (Now you've got to admit, that's some tenuous Godwin).
