Batman Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 Hardly surprising I guess. Not bad, England and an Italian international forward and can't score a bloody goal lol
SaintAmongSkates Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 And I thought Emile Heskey broke the mould for non scoring International Centre Forwards lol
DuncanRG Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 Can't believe he's got in ahead of Le Fondre.
Toon Saint Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 Can't believe he's got in ahead of Le Fondre. Le Fondre is French isn't he?!
DuncanRG Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 He's dual nationality, France never wanted him but Italy knew it was better to get someone who would only be on the bench and be ready in case Balotelli got injured.
Toon Saint Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 He's dual nationality, France never wanted him but Italy knew it was better to get someone who would only be on the bench and be ready in case Balotelli got injured. Ah, makes sense now.
BlakeySFC Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 Not surprised. With his awesome performance on Saturday how could Cesare Prandelli NOT call him up?!
kpturner Posted 1 September, 2013 Posted 1 September, 2013 Played over 90 minutes for us and not a single goal! How can he get called up for Italy with form like that ffs!

Glasgow_Saint Posted 7 September, 2013 Posted 7 September, 2013 http://www.football-italia.net/39249/osvaldo-brace-azzurri-test A brace two penalties
Avenue Saint Posted 8 September, 2013 Posted 8 September, 2013 two penalties ...and? You forgot to mention the author stating him as also "STAR OF THE SHOW" Such a saddo Glasgow you truly are.
S-Clarke Posted 8 September, 2013 Posted 8 September, 2013 I don't ever understand people who don't count penalties as goals, or just brush them off as not really meaning anything stats wise. If i'm not mistaken, the ball leaves the players foot and ends up in the goal, yes? Therefore he's scored a goal and that adds towards his stats.
VectisSaint Posted 8 September, 2013 Posted 8 September, 2013 http://www.football-italia.net/39249/osvaldo-brace-azzurri-test A brace Good stuff, these Serie D sides are top class opposition for Italy "B", bit like England playing the Skates.
Saint Charlie Posted 8 September, 2013 Posted 8 September, 2013 http://www.football-italia.net/39281/osvaldo-roma-wanted-me-out Happy to have joined Saints and settling well.

Saint Without a Halo Posted 9 September, 2013 Posted 9 September, 2013 Cortese seems to be going to all sorts of measures to land his targets. Well it beats a horses head! Stick and Carrot as they say!

Saint Without a Halo Posted 11 September, 2013 Posted 11 September, 2013 ...but didn't even get a place on the bench. He came on second half and helped turn the game around! So does that mean Italy are thrown out of the world cup for playing a non named substitute?
The9 Posted 11 September, 2013 Posted 11 September, 2013 He came on second half and helped turn the game around! So does that mean Italy are thrown out of the world cup for playing a non named substitute? Eurosport managed to name him on their website on the live coverage...
