Torres Posted 8 December, 2008 Share Posted 8 December, 2008 Any advances on the horrible Wetherspoons at Thornton Heath for a couple of pre-match bevvies?
bungle Posted 8 December, 2008 Share Posted 8 December, 2008 I am planning to head to The Railway Telegraph which is 100yds from Thornton Heath. Cross over when you come out the station and turn right. You can't miss it. Is a Young's pub.

No WW in the Red Cow or the Old Ship last night and they're both Youngs so don't hold your breath. It's a right fag to get there from Holborn so we will probably not until be there until about

This Charming Man Posted 9 December, 2008 Share Posted 9 December, 2008 I thought it was a fairly decent pub, the sofa was much appreciated.
bungle Posted 10 December, 2008 Share Posted 10 December, 2008 I thought it was a fairly decent pub, the sofa was much appreciated. There were a few sofas weren't there? There was one in a weird looking cubby hole at the back of the pub. Looked like it had a sliding door so you could be shut in. Interesting. Michelle Posted 10 December, 2008 Share Posted 10 December, 2008 'Twas indeed a good pub. Deffo one for future use, rather than the chavtastic Wetherspoons.
