Dr Who? Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Still plenty of time, one thing we have changed from the old Southampton way is we play until the end!
Dr Who? Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Don't even think of blaming Boruc for that. Believe me NO keeper likes getting beat at their near post, with no defence or not!
Barry Sanchez Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Gash please be sold, Fox be depart, Pochettino please if you even consoder Fox again I do seriously question your credentials to manage our team.
Professor Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 If you've been watching this on a live stream, which team has had the edge? Its looked like Norwich all the way. Still possible to get a goal back but it would be against the run of play.
Super_Saint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 **** the offside rule, think the linesman just likes waving his flag.
Professor Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Gash please be sold, Fox be depart, Pochettino please if you even consoder Fox again I do seriously question your credentials to manage our team. To blame Fox, you must be watching a different game. It was Chambers who failed to make the tackle or block that led to the goal.
Convict Colony Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 For the sake of Mr Colony that was supposed to be irony and comedy failing at the same time........................ sorry bazz been a long day down here in South Africa
kraftwerk26 Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 **** the offside rule, think the linesman just likes waving his flag. weres the pressing gone....theres no intensity
melmacian_saint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Believe me NO keeper likes getting beat at their near post, with no defence or not! I understand but he's probably unsighted, against sunlight and shot was quite powerful.
Barry Sanchez Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 To blame Fox, you must be watching a different game. It was Chambers who failed to make the tackle or block that led to the goal. Who is blaming him for that? He was **** and crap before that balls up and will continue to be, Gash has talent but it lies elsewhere, he is the ****test signing since Ali Dia, and how much did he cost?
buctootim Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 weres the pressing gone....theres no intensity Norwich are better at it than us.
Jonnyboy Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Thought we were the better team for the first 65 mins.
Minsk Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Not what you all want to hear but I'm still waiting to be convinced...... You are not alone!!!
norwaysaint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 weres the pressing gone....theres no intensity We took off Morgan and Lallana.
Legod Third Coming Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Not watching, haven't seen us at all this season other than on MoTD, but very surprised by some of these selections and the omission of Jack Cork who was one of our bets players at the back end of last season. Happy for Poch to let the new guys settle in, but can't believe we would play Fox over Shaw ever. Regardless of how good or bad Fox is. Shaw is world class.
kraftwerk26 Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Norwich are better at it than us. true...saturday ruined
Stepgar Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 what is it and inability to shoot form out side the box.
Barry Sanchez Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Are we as good as thought we were? No, I think the clappers got about 8 months ahead of themselves. Reality v's Delusion. Fox is the reality on this issue, he is not a Championship player let alone a Premiership one.
Webby Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Someone said after last week that Norwich away would be a good benchmark. Hmmm.... Our midfield has been properly mugged.
Barry Sanchez Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Thought we were the better team for the first 65 mins. I do believe you have been reliving the high points of Breaking Bad..........................
Bristol_Benji Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Watching it on tv. We've been really really poor, lallana arguably our best player so far and Pinocchio took him off for Gaston - who has been rubbish so far. However Wanyama has been worse. Appalling passing from him all game.
Ohio Saint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 We are the second best in this game by half a goal IMO
melmacian_saint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Davis should've started today. His passing is exactly what we needed earlier.
mulletsaint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 (edited) I do believe you have been reliving the high points of Breaking Bad.......................... You're in your element aren't you? Odd decisions from MP but the reality is that we're somewhere between where the most ardent optimists are and where idiots like you claim. One bad result doesn't make us a crap team in the same way that one great one doesn't mean we're world beaters. Edited 31 August, 2013 by mulletsaint
Barry Sanchez Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 We are the second best in this game by half a goal IMO What was that?
niceandfriendly Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Horror show is the only way to describe this performance. Wouldn't give anyone over a 4 (apart from Lallana and perhaps JWP)
Minsk Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Thought we were the better team for the first 65 mins. You must be watching a different match to me.
Roger Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 I thought Lallana was good today. Shocking performance.
hypochondriac Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Just awful. Concerning performance. Our build up play is painfully slow and predictable.
Bristol_Benji Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Gaston has been awful. Understatement. I know he's only been on 15mins but he's literally failed to do anything. Other than fall over and give the ball away time and time again
Jonnyboy Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 You must be watching a different match to me. Lol, tbf I've been popping in and out of the room whilst doing chores dear. We've certainly been poor since they've scored, but then they're shutting up shop.
Batman Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 We just lost the scoring habit We just look slow getting it forward Odd team selections too
Barry Sanchez Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 You're in your element aren't you? Odd decisions from MP but the reality is that we're somewhere between where the most ardent optimists are and where idiots like you claim. One bad result doesn't make us a crap team in the same way that one great one doesn't. No funny enough I am not, **** decisions and poor team selection. Ramirez should not be in the squad along with Fox and we should be going after a winger and a ulitilty full back. Not rocket science, Ramirez has been **** since day one but the clappers want to deny this reality and seize upon any basic action done by him and call it World class, these people are their own worst enemies. Reality will always beat delusion. We are a top ten side, thats our first XI, our squad is an awful lot weaker, Fox playing proves this.
DG Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Desperate times call for desperate measures, woot for a last minute equaliser.
Stepgar Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Lambert you have been poor today. Give JWP the next free kick please.
niceandfriendly Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 I can't remember a game where all of our players have played so, so badly. Well, yes I can, but not for a long time.
Ohio Saint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 0.5 of a goal? You have no imagination. It's like being "just" behind. Really, buy some imagination. You look stupid without it.
Convict Colony Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 we got lucky v WBA, lucky v Sunderland and i don't know what today = 0 goals from open play, all this from one of the best attacks in the league according to Paolo Di Canio. ****ing hell football is so frustrating.
sussexsaint Posted 31 August, 2013 Posted 31 August, 2013 Always going to be a tough game, just a bit disappointed with our play compared to the last 3 games.
