teenagegsaint Posted 29 August, 2013 Posted 29 August, 2013 Just looked at the Europa League schedule and the home game v Swansea will be moved to the Sunday 6th October because they've reached the group stages of the Europa league. :/ Was due to be played on the 5th
Saintandy666 Posted 29 August, 2013 Posted 29 August, 2013 Not unsurprising. Swansea are a good side, and I hope they do well in the Europa league. More than a bit annoying for those who prefer Saturday kickoffs, but that's the nature of the Premier League these days.
S-Clarke Posted 29 August, 2013 Posted 29 August, 2013 TBF, they did lose tonight to a pretty rubbish side. All of their work was done in the 1st leg.
eurosaint Posted 29 August, 2013 Posted 29 August, 2013 Brill, if they make the change I can play in a golf competition with slap up dinner afterwards and then see the Saints the following day ! Bring it on....
Georgie Posted 29 August, 2013 Posted 29 August, 2013 Ah good my hockey game would of clashed on the Saturday! Now if only they could move the man city game in December too to the Sunday
Dr Who? Posted 29 August, 2013 Posted 29 August, 2013 Ah good my hockey game would of clashed on the Saturday! Now if only they could move the man city game in December too to the Sunday Rupert!
Georgie Posted 29 August, 2013 Posted 29 August, 2013 Rupert! Urgh. I would absolutely love to play a match against him and whack him over the head with my hockey stick.
grantsaint Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 When do you think this will be announced? Delighted if it does move to a Sunday!!
JRM Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 When do you think this will be announced? Delighted if it does move to a Sunday!! it's guaranteed to , they will be playing the Thursday before that fixture. the draw for groups is today , let's hope they have a Russian / Kazakhstan team and play them away that week.
hutch Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 Didn't we play Newcastle last year after their euro game
stevegrant Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 Didn't we play Newcastle last year after their euro game Both games against them were moved for this last season. We won on away goals
The9 Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 Ah good my hockey game would of clashed on the Saturday! Now if only they could move the man city game in December too to the Sunday Rupert! Rupert knows the difference between "of" and "have".
thefuriousb Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 Thats just great - I am running a half marathon in London on the Sunday. I may be able to be back in the car for around 1pm but it will mean I am unlikely to have had time to shower if I do make kick off! Also, for anyone travelling from London that day, there are no trains between Waterloo & Basingstoke until after kick off!
Georgie Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 Rupert knows the difference between "of" and "have". Oh no I'm going to be caught by the grammar police

"All lines in the Woking area will be closed Sunday until late afternoon for maintenance work. During this time no trains will run between Weybridge and Basingstoke or between Woking and Guildford. •Trains between London Waterloo and Weymouth will call at Surbiton and then be diverted via Guildford, Havant and Fareham before rejoining their normal route at Southampton Central. Trains from London Waterloo will start earlier than normal"
The9 Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 Oh no I'm going to be caught by the grammar police It wasn't even aimed at you, it was aimed at the flawed insinuation you were Rupert Lowe, when he almost certainly knows the correct use of the word. Personally I have no problem if you want to appear unintelligent when you post, it feeds my superiority complex.
JRM Posted 30 August, 2013 Posted 30 August, 2013 Swansea have some tough games in the group with Valencia, St Gallen (who saints played pre-season couple of years ago) and Russian side Kuban Krasnodar! let's hope they have them away Thursday before we play them.

However I know I am not unintelligent
