Former Saints player Boa Morte has signed for non league Hampshire side Four Marks FC

exciting as they're one of my two local non league sides, don't remember much of him at saints as i was 6 when he joined but remember him alongside louis saha at fulham, seemed decent enough

He must like the area - he went off to the Greek league and then played in South Africa for a while - then Chesterfield

 

Scored 2 goals in the last 6 years. Probably very VERY rich

I've often driven through Four Marks and wondered why there's a Travel lodge there? If memory serves me right, there's pretty much a Tesco and a Chinese and that's it.

Four Marks is just a road someone decided to build a new housing estate on. Very weird place.

I guess it's supposed to serve Alton, given that's the next reasonably-sized place along the A31. I grew up in Alton and played at the same sort of level Boa Morte will do now. Utterly bizarre.
