Logo on home shirt

Surely AAP3 can't be happy with the logo on the home shirt? In gold it is almost in invisible and having just looked at the pics on the OS it really doesn't show well.

It's a bit of a mystery.

The gold look might have made sense if our rumoured sponsorship with Lotus went ahead... but whatever, it does not show up well on TV or photos. As a result the kit has a discreet minimalist look and gives it a significant advantage over kits that have been spoiled by sponsors' logos. It's growing on me. Still looks a bit weird especially when paired with the red shorts, but it's something.

Didnt Adidas make thousands of shirts with the gold Saints and Adidas badge expecting later to be putting the gold Lotus badge on. But the deal didnt go through and we were forced to have a gold AAP.

 

I like the gold. If it wasnt for it, the shirt would be awful. I do actually like the shirt even though I prefer stripes. It's the lack of black shorts that bothers me, and I never buy the shorts.

I think it's deliberate, aap3 have no money, we wanted a new sponsor but couldn't get one due to contract stuff so we did the next best thing and chose the only colour that doesn't show up on the cameras.

Is the aap3 deal the reason the players go on the pitch before ko in track suit tops without sponsor for the prematch handshake & picture?

Rubbish kit, rubbish badge, rubbish sponsor.....but quite a handy side. I will take this.

Not keen on new shirt, still not growing on me, and hate the gold I think it looks cheap, but do like the keepers kit so maybe will get one of those instead

I don't mind the gold on red background. That it can't be seen well is our advantage, aap3's loss.

 

The kit doesn't look bad on the field either, now I have got used to it - apart from the feminine white hankies stitched onto the sleeves.
