SaintBobby Posted 24 August, 2013 Share Posted 24 August, 2013 Was shocked, but unsurprised, to discover that Nathaniel Clyne will be 37 next month. The smoking gun, to prove what we all suspected, is in today's programme on page 44. His date of birth is 29th Sept 1976.The guy is clearly an Ali Dia type con artist. Fire him now. Pretending to be a promising youngster when you're in your late 30s is fraud.#appalled

matthewb Posted 24 August, 2013 Share Posted 24 August, 2013 I saw that as well. Also did you notice that Kelvin Davis and Paulo Gazzaniga were supposedly born on that day as well!!
Toomer Posted 25 August, 2013 Share Posted 25 August, 2013 That's what you get by getting the programme printed by a skate printer.
georgeweahscousin Posted 26 August, 2013 Share Posted 26 August, 2013 I think it said Clyne made his Saints debut in 2006 too? Great new design though. Very impressed.
CB Saint Posted 26 August, 2013 Share Posted 26 August, 2013 I am pretty sure the programme said KD and gazza shall the same DoB as well
aintforever Posted 26 August, 2013 Share Posted 26 August, 2013 The programme looked OK but was riddled with errors. Bit of a lame attempt considering, apart from one friendly game they had since mid May to put it together.

I'm really quite impressed.

Nice to have steady back up, especially with someone from the youth squad as well !!

Nice to have steady back up, especially with someone from the youth squad as well !! oh yes Euro Saints, I agree with all of that, except that getting up to that sort of " pre-season fitness " can take time... but what is fully fit ? I recall Alan Shearer once saying ;" there's lot of difference between being fit enough to play ...and being properly match fit " ....how right he was. I hope and expect Clyne to be back in the near future, but Chambers' displays have impressed me so far. He isn't easily pushed around, which is perhaps the only real problem for Luke Shaw to contend with.
DT Posted 27 August, 2013 Share Posted 27 August, 2013 In the West Brom programme, Lallana was described as a 'veteran'. He was born in 1988...
