Saint Without a Halo Posted 24 August, 2013 Share Posted 24 August, 2013 We played four Academy graduates together today in Chambers Ward-Prowse Shaw and Lallana you could almost count Morgan as one too given his length of time and development at the club this must be a first since the Beckham generation at United! It's not that we're just playing youth for the sake of it (as we did under Wotte) - we actually have young players who are premiership quality ready to come into the 11. When it was suggested that our long-term plan was to have 50% of our team made up of academy players, I thought it was beyond possible and completely far fetched. But actually, it's not.
