Should be too Cool in thread line...

Keep getting these knocks from opponents and IMO some of them could be avoided if he was a bit quicker with what he does.

He often have a lot of times due to his speed but it´s like he is too cool at times and wait to get to the ball or play the ball until the opponents are getting very close. He knows he will be first on the ball so that´s not the issue but when he waits until that last seconds the opponents are getting close thinking they can stop the ball but when they miss it they instead knocks into Luke....it´s like the opponents dont understand how fast he is and that they wont reach the ball but still goes into the challenges thinking they can...

Doesn't seem so.

Just precaution to bring him off then. Good. However I really feel like we should get another CB in who could also cover at full back. Shaw will keep getting niggling injuries and we aren't too many injuries off having to start Hooiveld/Fox. Although seeing that Fox hasn't even made the bench for first two games suggests that Clyne will be back up left back for now

We need our fullbacks to have pace. There are not too many CBs who would be as fast as is needed. CBs at fullback generally look stodgy ans slow.

I don't know how old (you) are Olalana....? but it's a bit unfair to lay any form of criticism on young Luke (at present).

He was amongst the youngest of the Prem. debutants last season, but still got more games than any other player in his age group, and many who are older and more experienced.

YES.. he still learning his trade, and there are flaws in his game, but he'll learn and if this is the starting point ..ask yourself how good can he become... in say 3-5 years time.?

.. for my money, a 17 year old.. (sorry he's 18 now - isn't he).... to put in some of the performances that he did last season, puts him way ahead of any of his predecessors, and a lot of others far more experienced in the Prem.
