Read before that he has excellent leadership qualities and is one of the more dominant personalities in that age group. Never seen him play so don't know too much about his playing style. Anyone know the length of his new contract?

if he's finished his Academy time (?), then it's probably a one year extension like Omar Rowe and Lloyd Isgrove.

 

A year... to prove his worth, to make the squad, come off the bench and do the business. If not, free transfer next season to an L1 /L2 side ; like Ben Reeves, Sam Hoskins and Co.

He did look good when he came on against Barnsley. Just a very hard position to break into at Premier League level.

looked pretty average in the game I watched v Chelsea the other week, think it was U21s.

 

then again only time I have seen him play, plus the whole team where pretty crap that day.

 

Good luck to him and hope he gets a few more run outs to prove me wrong.

I like what I've seen of him. Have heard from someone that knows a coach at Saints that he has a brilliant football brain but sometimes struggles to put in to practice exactly what he wants to do with the ball. Similar to what anyone watching me play 5 a side last night would have said.

Mmm...can't see that he's wearing that " special brand of watch " though?........Do they give Academy players a proper watch, (like the real pro's)...or do they get a wind-up Mickey Mouse type?
