  • It was disappointing to concede that goal so early on
  • My team seemed to be in shock
  • We have to learn from this situation
  • We need to be aware that you cannot give anything away
  • We can look at the future positively, because we know we can create
  • It's all about the small details and we need to be fully focused on the small details
  • Sometimes the small details cost us points
  • See this as a wake-up call
  • I don't really have to talk about Sunderland
  • They scored the one real chance they got
  • They continued playing their game
  • We have to win the match, it's ninety-five or more minutes
  • Osvaldo is well-established, but needs more of a run
  • He needs to learn his team-mates
  • We hope he enjoys his time at Southampton and plays well
  • *refused to comment on whether Osvaldo would start against Barnsley

well surely our strikers ought to get a hatful against a team bottom of the Championship - who've conceded 12 in their first 4 games.

We were leading at 1-0 but another set-play cost us two points. It was a cheap free-kick but 1-0 is more than acceptable. We have to be honest, Southampton deserved to win this game because they played better.

"This is a tough league, we all know that, but we have time to improve. However, one point away from home against a fantastic side is a good result

Fair enough

Throw in a bit of pace to the mix and we'd be amazing to watch.

To be fair Xavi Insetia Cesc David Villa all played in a attacking position for barca last season none of them have rapid pace, Villa is about Jay Rods pace which is good but not rapid like theo bale etc.

He starts speaking English in this interview and has to stop himself and revert to Spanish. It's obvious that he is waiting for what he or his advisors consider to be the right moment to unleash his English on the world...

Interview is a video half way down.

fair play, says how it is

the start...'falling asleep' was completely unacceptable and takes full responsibility

you can see in that video that he is quite fuking peed off. expected 6 points from 6

Not sure why he's taking responsibility for a defender falling Asleep 3 minutes into a game at a dead ball. Maybe it was a tactical decison he made.

......do you mean Mayuka, Clarkey ?

I personally don't think the coaching staff fancy him. He never features. I thought the fact he got a few mins in the pre-season games suggested he may be further up the pecking order, but clearly not.

Probably has lots of pace but not a lot else.
