Always wanted to go there and I have a friend who lives there. She tells me there are a lot of earthquakes going on ATM

We went there in February last year for a couple of weeks, mostly in South Island. It's a fascinating country, young in every sense of the word. Driving was easy on empty roads, even my wife found it a piece of cake. We packed everything into a hectic itinerary but at least we saw a lot. Next time we'll take it more slowly.

Went there in 2009. Great country, outstanding wild beauty and very welcoming. Would go back anytime!

 

Actually loved Christchurch and was heartbroken when the 2nd earthquake came along I would really like to experience life down there if I had the chance in the future!

Yep, I was there in 2009 too. A friend of mine I met in Oz is currently working out there and over the duration of a round the world trip, New Zealand was the nicest place I visited so I am going back.
