Sunderland will be a tough game, they have good players and will want to make up for their home defeat

we played well and WBA and picked up 3 very important points

we really want to continue that and get our home campaign off to the right start

Danny Osvaldo is fully fit, played international game last week, needs to be integrated into the team and learn our way

always looking at the market, achieved the goals we initially wanted by improving the starting 11 in those 3 positions

Formation doesn't need wingers in the traditional sense and Punch's game is pretty limited when we can have Lambert dropping back as an attacking mid and play Rodriguez/Lallana/Gaston in that bursting through from the hole sort of role with Osvaldo up top....

I know lots have been promoting Lambert as dropping back and being able to play attacking mid, but has he ever actually done this? As far as I'm aware he has pretty much only ever played as a lead the line CF.

I quite liked him all of last season actually, don't know why though because I can't usually stand strikers that don't score. Just slowly coming round to the fact he isn't actually very good.
