mcbendy Posted 21 August, 2013 Posted 21 August, 2013 And unlike the Sky broadcast he isn't cut off.... http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/podcasts/episode-2-1314/
mcbendy Posted 21 August, 2013 Author Posted 21 August, 2013 Starts at 33:50 Count the "yeah definitely"s
mcbendy Posted 21 August, 2013 Author Posted 21 August, 2013 I made it four. That's pretty reasonable. I think it was Jack Cork that managed 47 "Yeah definitely"s in a 3 minute interview - a new world record. Definitely.
hypochondriac Posted 21 August, 2013 Posted 21 August, 2013 Do footballers all have the same media training? Be as dull and generic as possible and you won't do anything wrong or say anything controversial...
Smirking_Saint Posted 21 August, 2013 Posted 21 August, 2013 Do footballers all have the same media training? Be as dull and generic as possible and you won't do anything wrong or say anything controversial... Yeah definately
Batman Posted 21 August, 2013 Posted 21 August, 2013 Do footballers all have the same media training? Be as dull and generic as possible and you won't do anything wrong or say anything controversial... yeah, you know. Definitely. It's a pleasure for them to play for such a big club. The ambition is there and should they lose, we will dust themselves down and pick themselves up. when they cross that white line, they give everything. definitely
capitalsaint Posted 21 August, 2013 Posted 21 August, 2013 Do footballers all have the same media training? Be as dull and generic as possible and you won't do anything wrong or say anything controversial... reminds me of this pearl of wisdom from dion dublin: 'If you don't lay your foundations correctly then things will crumble from under your feet. There's no way you can be successful without blood, sweat and tears. You have to put the hours in and build collectively and above board.' insightful stuff. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2380821/Dion-Dublin-Footballers-Football-Column-I-angry-I-talk-Coventry--badly-run-club.html#ixzz2ccUJj7Os
RonManager Posted 21 August, 2013 Posted 21 August, 2013 Look out for those that have done the advanced course. They say 'Yeah, No, Definitely'

We have to wait until people like Gary Neville to retire to realise that actually he is a nice bloke with some very interesting opinions.
Danish Saint Posted 22 August, 2013 Posted 22 August, 2013 It also comes down to the journalists, asking the same stupid questions over and over. Post-match interviews are almost as exciting as watching the grass grow.
Lazlo78 Posted 22 August, 2013 Posted 22 August, 2013 It also comes down to the journalists, asking the same stupid questions over and over. Post-match interviews are almost as exciting as watching the grass grow. Unless you have Troels Bech to shake it up a little and start commenting the quality of the questions themselves
