Stepgar Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 Didn't know any of those other than sharp to Wednesday. So thanks for the update.

sydneysaint17 Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 Sinclair deal seems more likely in light of this Punch loan
BristolSaint Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 The Punch loan deal still hasnt been confirmed. If true you would hope that a replacement that is of a superior quality like Sinclair or Banega has already been lined up

Olallana Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 I´m surprised no Championship clubs wants to loan Tadanari Lee, or are we rejecting loan offers perhaps in a wish to sell...?
The9 Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 I´m surprised no Championship clubs wants to loan Tadanari Lee, or are we rejecting loan offers perhaps in a wish to sell...? From all reports and the previous loan I'd only expect him to go to a Japanese club. He doesn't seem to have settled well and his injuries can't have helped. Didn't realise he'd turned down a move to FC Tokyo in the summer : http://www1.skysports.com/news/12040/8783334/ but from the translation that was due to him being a bit part player for them already. The9 Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 I somehow doubt his driving ban has helped either... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2330250/Southampton-striker-Tadanari-Lee-banned-driving.html How did that pass me by as well ?!!? SNSUN Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 I thought this thread was about cigarettes. Most disappointed. Would we really let Guly go? Granted he's not the best but he's adequate cover. With no Puncheon and no Guly, even if we bring one more in, our squad in the AM department looks thin. Bewildered Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 I´m surprised no Championship clubs wants to loan Tadanari Lee, or are we rejecting loan offers perhaps in a wish to sell...? Would he need a new Work Permit to complete the loan? Will be harder for him to get one now he's no longer anywhere near the Japanese national team. SNSUN Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 My guess is that they really believe in Isgrove to make the step up. I'd be a lot more confident in bringing an AM in, say Sinclair for all the speculation, but even before Puncheon went I thought we were too light creatively. Still, I suppose we'd have enough for the early part of the season, we can always correct that in January.
Pastor Patrón Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 JWP can play in AM too, he seemed to Saturday and was quality. Edit: Oh yah, you said that

Haha funny, I actually thought about putting that question up myself since I dont know the rules for that when he has one for us if that appliable in another club too... Otherwise he probably would be denied this time around.

But then, I don't think he's higher on the roster than Puncheon so I guess it makes sense. That would be a great deal for Sheffield Wednesday, they would score a ton.
