will definitely tune in H&J always a decent listen, better than that plank Durham or f***ing Colin Murray

Was quite enjoying my namesake in the car this morning, vastly prefer his slightly offbeat show compared to the 'Keys and Grey old boy's love in' predecessor. As for Adrian Durham, yes.... he is dire.

Just mentioned that he will be on around about half past.

great time to be involved with saints

osvaldo looks very good, can see he will be good at leading the line or dropping off the front man

young players will have a chance here if they are good enough

shaw made the right decision to stay, best club for him right now

looking at the top half of the table for starters

many clubs have strengthened well

lambert is so humble, cant stop smiling about his england cap

hard training in spain and its paying off already

did some work overt he summer for PUMA and their youtube channel

"he plays off the shoulder" was the phrase used

Osvaldo plays as point man normally. I expect him to play in that position for saints - certainly at first. If he can play as one of the other attacking three all well and good, but initially, i think it was the9 mentioned it, but he should mostly know what hes doing already at the head of the attack. Its the inter- movement of the other three that might take a bit more learning.

Cheers, will listen out. Tweeted Adrian Durham to stop babbling on about Man Utd buying Luke Shaw (instead of Baines) and his response was 'overrated anyway'.

Such a tit.

Ah, you bit! On Monday, he said Shaw was currently the third best English left back and would be England's number 3 in years to come.

But, yes, he is a tit!

I'm not familiar with that phrase - would someone be kind enough to explain it? Thanks...

I think the implication is that he likes to read and feed off layoffs and knock-downs from the lead guys.

It sounds like he'll lay back a little and look for one of Rickie's touches or Lallana's angled through-balls.

If so, he can have a field day with us. I lost count of the number of chances we created last year for somebody smart enough to read them and quick enough to get to them first.

The more I hear the more I think that he and Rickie can create a formidable partnership.

Rickie particularly and gaston love a head down or a cheeky dink over the top. This is gunna be incredible.

And (IMHO) is probably why we won't be needing an old fashioned dinosaur winger without the brightest footballing brain getting in the way of our overlapping FB's who will be setting up SRL & Gaston for those dinks.

I would not bother tuning in till at least 3:32 cos they have to tell you bout where the trade goes first (SPOILER - I believe they go to Selco)

Incidentally is there a more annoying advert on any media system that's worse than "and all.That.Gaaaaaaaaaaaaas"...

Have to say that's completely the opposite of my interpretation which is "plays off the shoulder....of the last defender". So basically he leads the line and is the focal point for early crosses etc.

And you could be right.

But I'm going by the type of player we already have (some intricate play in and around the box, which has often gone unrewarded) and by some of the highlights I've seen of Osvaldo's play.

In practice it could probably be both, which would make us even more deadly.
