The seller's had a cold drink and he's 'avin a giraffe. They usually go for £25 give or take. Strangely enough, I was talking to a badge seller near the ground at our away game with Carlisle back along, and this badge came up in conversation. I mentioned I had been on the lookout for one, and loe and behold he pulled one out of his pocket and sold it to me there and then.

RonManager Posted 19 August, 2013 Share Posted 19 August, 2013 Seen them go for £25/40 but never seen one with the makers name. I've only ever seen mine and it has that on the back. I shall watch with interest!

Jimmy_D Posted 19 August, 2013 Share Posted 19 August, 2013 I have one like that, but without the maker's name on the back.
John Boy Saint Posted 20 August, 2013 Share Posted 20 August, 2013 Some of these regular sellers that are more like shops on eBay will jack the price of an item just to keep their listing count up and which counts towards their better position higher up the search order is maintained. Someone I know does a bit of this trading and he explained it along the lines above, when I questioned in conversation that Heston blokes Waitrose Christmas Pudding with a Crystalised Orange inside being on eBay for £200 yet most of the others were on at £15-£20. sussexsaint Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 Something to do with fees being waived for repeat listings or something. Lots of items on there for stupid money I initially.
doggface Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 I think that is an amazing badge. Best I have seen. If we modernised just a touch and got rid of the "supporters" bit and replaced with 1885 or something that would be a huge winner to replace the existing one imo. Donny Saint Posted 21 August, 2013 Share Posted 21 August, 2013 I've got one but the red and white colours around the outer edge are reversed (white at the top and red at the bottom) and no markings on the back. Can't remember how I came by it, probably belong to my Dad.
